Anyone going to the Warner Theater who has been there before?
Got tickets through the fan club, which was a first, and I guess I should have kept trying for different seats, but I had no idea how quick they'd sell out. Called the theater and they said ALL seats are good, it's a small place. No surprise there.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the rows further back (S) on the orchestra level are any good? I'm a little worried right now!

I've been to the Warner Theatre many times--I'm in Northern Virginia. The venue is very nice (not too big) so you should be fine. You can go to the Warner Theatre website and pull up the full house seating chart. I bought the $24.95 INXS membership too, just to make sure I could get tickets. I did it online and ran into a timing glitch the first time (I had front row balcony seats) so I had to start all over again and ended up with four mid-balcony (EE) seats (orchestra wasn't offered.) I can't wait to see Marty and the Lovehammers. If you are driving, there are a number of parking garages. If you are taking the metro into DC, the closest stop is Federal Triangle (12th & Penn.). There are also plenty of restaurants around the Warner Theatre.

You guys are very lucky. Went for pre-sale tickets both days they were announced and they were gone both times. .

Apologies for sounding like I was complaining. Only reason I was worried about the seating is because I'm bringing my kids and I was hoping the view would be good for them.
I definitely realize now we're just lucky to have seats! I had a friend try for tickets during the internet presale yesterday, and she couldn't get 4 seats together - and that was just 3 minutes into the sale!
We're happy and know we're going to have a great time!

Yes; I am soooooooo going. Have never been there before, will probably make a dry run before the big day so I don't get lost in the cold dark february night. Would love to meet up with anyone going. My seats are in row Q! I actually had seats closer in, SS, and accidently got stupid and hit a wrong key on computer and when I resubmitted I got Q! So, if anyone is wanting to meet up, post here, we will have to look for each other. I am going with a Sistah! Ellen

icuellen, I've never been to the warner either, but looking at the seating chart, I think you actually did better with the seats in Q. I believe SS is in the upper balcony, which looks to me like you'd be further away. You have seats two rows in front of me now. If you look at the seating chart, let me know what you think.
I like your idea of a dry run. It'll be crazy the night of the show.

OK, confession - I've never been on ebay. I know, I know I'm a bit slow on things, but I guess it's time I venture over there. Thanks for the suggestion - I never thought about that!

I got tickets to the DC show. I had a presale but it did not do my any good. A real waste of FAN club money!!
I am in second balcony and from what I see on the map, it is not too bad at all.
Just do not know my way around DC and I will be staying near the Mall. Hopefully taxis are not a problem as I can get lost in my own bathtub.
Am coming from Florida and then hopefully taking a bus into the city.
What I will do for my Marty.
Hubby does not know I am seeing INXS. Thinks I am seeing a good friend. Ha, I am, Marty!!!!

I have tickets to the DC show at Warner theater. My seats are ok, first row mid balcony but I'd much rather be on the floor : (
I found some tickets for $300 a piece that are 5th row back right in fron of the stage. I am sooooo tempted to buy those! I'm sure I can find someone to go with me!

I am so sorry about that. I really am. Maybe it's best that you hold out for a "real" Lovehammer's show anyway. It kind of bugs me that we're not going to see as much of MC as we will of JD. Not that I'm knockin' the Canadian. Wouldn't it be fun if we could all meet up sometime and go to a real LH concert? The front row full of MC.ORG people! OK, one can dream. ..

Maybe it will happen when the Lovehammers are headlining their OWN North American tour. I think we'd have to do it in Chicago. I'd love to see the boys rocking their hometown. I'd be willing to use up all of my AirMiles and a few vacation days for that.
