I imagine the guys will be staying at the casino hotel as well. We're staying over there two nights for both shows. The chances of seeing them wandering around are pretty good!! I too need to get a larger memory stick for my digital camera and am definately bringing my digital camera binoculars. I can be a real paparazzi then!! Hope they allow cameras inside the show!!

AWESOME!!!!!! Rockbeast...tell me what ticks you got for Friday night, maybe I might like to get a little closer! Oceangirl - OH YEAH!! I will have a fellow MC'er close by to squee with!! I am definately bringing cameras, pictures and a few pens for autographs...and perhaps some good classic novels and keep them in my room, and ....just in case M.C. needs something to read...he can come up to my room and gettem....hehehhehehehe. now...I just gotta lose a little of this baby weight that I havent been able to drop in five friggin' years, then I will bring my throwin' undies too! (you know, the dental floss kind, 'cause granny panties just arent the same.)

This will be awesome! I'm in 4th row for Saturday night. Got 4 tickets thru the INXS fan pre-sale, then decided to try my luck at two more for Friday night. Got section E, first row of tables. Not as good, but at least we'll be able to enjoy and hour and a half of MC and the Lovehammers and not just 45 minutes for one night. If they come thru with the MartyCasey.org shirts, that will be cool! We can all recognize each other!

(you know, the dental floss kind, 'cause granny panties just arent the same.) Dude, totally! I will post the before and after pictures of me soon, and I am still losing!! I am 6'2 and a 1/2 (about as tall as marty) but I am stocky, I weigh 205 lbs right now. March 2005 I weighed 250. 1,800 and 33 personal training sessions later...Its unreal. I feel like I am a different person. I am trying to lost 15 or even 20 more lbs, I have lost more body fat than anything. I had a HUGE beer gut that took 10 years to grow. I am still working on a small flab on my stomach, some friends say they hear it wont go away w/o liposuction. I need a good surgeon!! :lol If I EVER met Marty or any one else in the LH, the first thing I would tell them would be THANK YOU. For the past 3 months I have been working out and training to MOMM and other songs from MC/LH and its totally motivational for me... Remember when MC did "Creep" on RS INXS? When he sang the line "I Want a perfect boooooooody" and all the girls screamed!!

You know, I was PM chatting with another list member a few days ago about the same thing . . . Marty music has so much energy it just makes me want to get up and move. It put me into workout mode as well and I swear I've already dropped two sizes. I told her that if I ever got the chance to meet Marty in person, all I would really want to do is tell him THANK YOU . . . but how to explain why . . . there is something about watching Marty reach for his dreams that inspired me again to go after my own.

I'm driving out to Lincoln City to pick up my tickets today. Ordered a pair for Friday's show via the fan pre-sale, haven't got them yet, they're supposed to arrive 14 days before the show. But I also got a pair for Saturday by calling the Casino during the general sale and those are at Will Call. Gonna check out the view from my seats if the showroom is open. I've just read through this thread and saw a few people talking about bringing digital cameras or video cameras - and I'm wondering that since the showroom is in the casino that maybe they won't allow camera equipment. I'll ask while I'm there and let ya'll know what they tell me. We go to Lincoln City a lot for weekend trips. If anyone needs or wants to know anything about the area let me know and maybe I can help.

I have tickets for both nights too. How about asking if they will let you check out a room to see what they look like? Have been to Lincoln City numerous times, never to Casino there. Only live a short distance from there...very excited!

No problem koolmaid, I will ask them if they let people check out the rooms. I've never stayed at the Casino. I guess if you don't like them once you get there it shouldn't be too hard to get a room somewhere else, unless a whole lotta people are there for whale watching or storm watching. Did you check out the casino website? There is a virtual tour of the rooms. www.chinookwindscasino.com/Lodging/index.htmlClick on Virtual Tour, then Lodging.

She said go ahead and bring your cameras, but whether you can use them or not will be announced at showtime. Hmmm....Also, what happened to the Shilo Inn that used to be next to the casino? Didn't there used to be a Shilo Inn? Haven't been down there in awhile, but is that what they converted the new casino hotel into??

Thank you Hammerfanatic for finding out about cameras for everyone. I would have to sneak my camera in anyway if they say "NO" I got my tickets in the mail yesterday, YIPPY! And just to let anyone know that has not gotten a room at Chinook Winds, they only had 1 room left when I called the other day. So whats the weather usually like around that time of year? This will be like a family trip for my family and we have never been to Oregon (except hubby) So I'm really excited to have a good time outside of stalking MC/Lovehammers! (yeah right!) The room we booked has a view of the beach ooooo maybe see MC jogging on the beach ahhh I will be on the beach disguised as a sandcastle! BBRR cold.

Hey, Oceangirl! Are you staying over Friday? I'm staying over both nights, and when I called a couple weeks ago, they told me I got the last room available for Saturday night, and it was smoking. Yuck. Hoping I can be moved by someone's cancellation or something. We're not as close to the stage on Friday night as Saturday night, so I'm planning on bringing in my digital camera binoculars. Always gotten them by security before. Plus, I'm hoping to do a little Lovehammer watching over that weekend. He-he!! It's always cold and rainy in January. Just hopefully we won't have any snow. Would make travel a bit treacherous!! Yeah, if it were a bit warmer, we might see Marty with pants rolled up strolling thru the surf!
