Hey, Oceangirl! Are you staying over Friday? I'm staying over both nights, and when I called a couple weeks ago, they told me I got the last room available for Saturday night, and it was smoking. Yuck. Hoping I can be moved by someone's cancellation or something. We're not as close to the stage on Friday night as Saturday night, so I'm planning on bringing in my digital camera binoculars. Always gotten them by security before. Plus, I'm hoping to do a little Lovehammer watching over that weekend. He-he!! It's always cold and rainy in January. Just hopefully we won't have any snow. Would make travel a bit treacherous!! Yeah, if it were a bit warmer, we might see Marty with pants rolled up strolling thru the surf! Snow on the Oregon Coast?? Ok, I have to come from Mt Shasta and I thought the only pass I would have to deal with would be at Siskiyou Summit into Ashland, OR. Where would one encouter snow between Interstate 5 and Lincoln City?

In any of the higher elevations along the coast range I would imagine you'd find snow. Depends on how far the snow level is down. Icy road conditions are always a concern that time of year. Probably nothng like you having to plow thru the Siskiyous though. That is quite a drive you have planned!! Here's to hoping we have a mild winter....or at least a warm Janurary!!

:)Yeah...talked to the Security this morning at The Casino & they said they ONLY Confiscate your cameras if your caught taking pictures inside the Casino but that as far as the Concerts go...is different for all of them. I have been to afew Concerts there where I have been allowed to take Pictures like when I went to see BB King afew yrs back ( for the 8th time) but NO Camcorders yet if your Digital Camera is also a Camcorder HEAH...I am going to have to buy myself a Digital Camera before the Concert. My Daughter & I still have NOT been able to find Tickets for the Concert :'(If there is anyone out there that has 2 extra Tickets they need to sell PLEASE let me know. She lives in Toledo & I live in Newport so could easily drive to get them -or- could FED-EX the $$$ Have afew months tho so we might still beable to find afew Tickets
