There were some that said that Marty showcased more of the softer side of his voice on Rockstar. Did you find that to be the case at the Metro? Was he just the same with the Lovehammers as he always sounded, or did you find any difference in his voice? Can't wait to see them at the Aragon!

I think we have a little bit of an "upgraded" Marty. He stayed pretty true to his style as seen in the DVD, but didn't seem to overwork his voice. This may have been learned from the voice coach. He did enough "screamy Marty" without going so overboard as to blow out his voice. It was perfect!

Thanks for your feedback Amy. I love the softer side of his voice, but some of his intensity is really great too. Sounds like his refined voice is going to be a real treat.

He sounded incredible! I can definitely hear that he has brought what he's been learning from voice lessons to his singing with Lovehammers. There was no vocal-cord-shredding screaming, just 'smooth' screaming, if you can picture that. He is hitting pitches right on the money, too. And so clear and resonant!!!!
