Alright peeps - let's hear it.
Who is going?
Who is waiting for The Lovehammers to come on their own.
Who, like me, is crying in their oatmeal because they couldn't get tickets?
Edited to say: And while you're at it, if you hear of any fresh tickets being released
or contests on the radio . . or anything . . . this is the place to put it!

Hey Franny2,
I'm going to the show on Monday, Feb 6 to see both the Lovehammers and INXS. I'm hoping for a meet and greet afterwards by the Lovehammers. And no, I couldn't wait until the Lovehammers toured as the headliner - I want to see them now.
Mix 99.9 in Toronto is having a contest this weekend. Whenever you hear an INXS song you call and get a chance to win tickets to an intimate concert with INXS, location unannounced. I'm not sure if the Lovehammers are part of this intimate concert.

You could have taken those words right out of my mouth . . . all except for the ACTUALLY GOING TO THE SHOW bit! I'M ON IT! Wait . . . did you say an intimate concert with INXS? Not quite what I was hoping for but i definitely wouldn't say no to that. And if there is the teensiest possible chance that The Lovehammers will be there then . . . . I'M ON IT! Thanks a lot that's exactly what I was hoping for  Edited to say: I had to laugh at myself when read this again - realized I keep forgetting INXS is going to be there too . . . |

106.9 The Bear...in Ottawa, is also having a contest to win tickets to "private concert with INXS"...also included in the prize package is return VIA rail tickets to Toronto, and also accomodations at the Delta hotel in TO. I just got off the phone with the radio station, and they have confirmed that it is in fact a "private show"....not one of the concerts at Massey Hall...but he couldn't give me the date of the show.  |

It's November 24th (US Thanksgiving) - Bravo Rehearsal Hall
INXS will be at First Canadian Place HMV the next day autographing Switch. The first 200 to preorder are guaranteed an autograph (all 200 are spoken for)

Email your name and where you'll be on November 23, and you may get tickets to see the exclusive performance. Sorry, no Lovehammers. They'll be getting ready for Thanksgiving.

I was just watching eTalk Daily. JD & OBINXS were on. (It seems like every time I turn on the TV, there's JD.) Anyway, the band said that they will be expanding their tour of Canada. They'll be announcing more Canadian cities/dates soon. I'm hoping LH will still be opening for them (they did invite the LH on their WORLD TOUR, after all). I would lose my freaking mind if the LH came to Halifax.  Edited: because I just realized I'm watching Inside Entertainment, not eTalk Daily (although that show was on earlier and JD/INXS were on it too). |

In an interview with ChumFM a few months ago, JD implied the Lovehammers wouldn't be doing to 2nd swing through Canada. I hope he is wrong.
PS - I am going to the Feb. 6th show.

I have an email confirmation from the boys that they are coming... I emailed them as soon as JD mentioned this. He means the summer tour... not the February dates. We are GUARANTEED Lovehammers for the Febuary dates!!! |
