ok...off topic here...why do people dislike Creed so much? Is it because of Scott Stapp? I really like their music....some of my fave songs are Creed songs. Please don't take this personally, but Creed is one of my most hated bands. Right up there with Hootie and The Blowfish (ugggghhh...I just uttered the forbidden words!). Why? Because I find their songs to be so overly sentimental and overblown. And I don't like the lead singer's vocals. That said, it was actually a Creed song that made me first notice Marty. I couldn't believe that I didn't hate "Arms Wide Open" when he sang it! But I know there are plenty of people out there who like them. Different strokes for different folks!

Hi everyone,
Don't particularly care who Lovehammers open for as long as they get to Australia!!!! Would buy tickets for any concert if they were opening. I am also lucky that a friend of mine is the manager of the company that does the lighting at ALL of the Australian Melbourne & Sydney concerts and big shows and has promised to get me backstage to meet MARTY!! I am excited already even tho it will probably be a year before they get to Auistralia.
Creed, YUK, can't stand them either, they never made it big in Australia, you guys can keep them over there!!
Helen.

I'm with everyone who picked Foo Fighters! It would be great to see Lovehammers as their opening act, I mean, that would totally rock!!

Chevelle, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver are all great choices, but I'd love to see them open for Pearl Jam. Ed Vedder loves to promote up and coming bands and with his Chicago ties it would be a good fit.

I was thinking along the same lines and how awesome would that be for them?

JUST MY POV ON PEARL JAM**** A long, long time ago in a land far, far away I was a Pearl Jam fan. Not so much anymore, I think they are overrated (that's just my opinion, I mean no disrespect). Musically they hit their pinnacle back in the 90's. It was(is) great music, but that was 10+ years ago. There are so many other bands out there who are making amazing music NOW. I think one of there bands would a better fit for Lovehammers. Now with that being said, if PJ were to offer Lovehammers an opening spot on their next tour, they would be fools to pass up the opportunity and I would still pay to go see them.

I'm so glad that they are officially opening for INXS. I joined the fanclub too, just so I could have access to the presale. (And I thought I was the only one! Hee.)
Plus, I'd like to see INXs too. I still like their music and i am not a rabid JD hater.

With Chevelle, I was thinking more on the lines of double bill, than an opening act. Foo Fighters would definitely be the headliner. At least in the short term. I'd really love to see Marty sit in with Dave Grohl on Everlong! That would be freaking incredible!

I'd love to argue that with ya, but this certainly isn't the time or place. And don't worry, I wouldn't get offended, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)
