If Lovehammers start at 8pm, what time do you estimate the show ends? How long was intermission and INXS's set?

If Lovehammers start at 8pm, what time do you estimate the show ends? How long was intermission and INXS's set? Everything I have read in reviews is that the LH start on time, play for 40 to 45 minutes, the intermission is 30 minutes, and INXS plays about, I think I read they play about an hour and a half. A while back there was a thought that the LH's were going to do a second set after INXS--I don't know how true that is--If anyone knows that to be a fact please let me know.

No. I can't see Lovehammers doing a second set after INXS. If it was going to happen, it would've happened tonight in Chicago. I can't see them doing it because the Lovehammers start the show in front of the curtain and then the roadies have to take down the Lovehammers' equipment to set up for INXS. The only way they could do it is if they were using INXS' equipment for the second set and I doubt that they'd let that happen. It would take far too long to set up the Lovehammers equipment again and by 11 pm, I doubt that people would sit for another half hour to wait for the set up. INXS wouldn't let Lovehammers use their set because there's such a difference in sets and I think that INXS subjugate the Lovehammers to make themselves look better. Most headliners do this anyway to the opening act, so it's not just an INXS thing. As far as the show goes, Lovehammers come on when the tickets say the show starts. In the case of Chicago, they started promptly at 8 pm. LH played for about 45 minutes and then it takes about a half hour to tear down the Lovehammers equipment and set up for INXS. Then, INXS plays for about an hour and a half including the encore and that's the show. Lovehammers play about 10 songs and INXS plays about 20 songs including their encore. Lovehammers don't have an encore. |
