I'm going with a friend on the 13th but I'm trying to talk my husband in to going with me on the 14th. I've never been to CBGBs before, any idea how quickly this place sells out ? Do I have some time to get tickets ?

I'm not sure what the capacity is, or how many tix are available, but I'd get them now just in case...at only $15 it's easy to buy them and work out the details later!

I am freaking out right now about tonights show! We have over 12" of snow and I am an hour outside Manhattan  I almost hope they postpone, otherwise I may have to miss it Bern |

I am freaking out right now about tonights show! We have over 12" of snow and I am an hour outside Manhattan I almost hope they postpone, otherwise I may have to miss it Bern There are a bunch of us watching the weather conditions for NYC. I am sched to fly in to LaGuardia tomorrow morning for Monday night's show and the CBGB performance on Tuesday. I hope the band made it to NYC from Atlantic City last night! So far, no one has posted about last night, but lots of comments about how much snow is falling in NYC....Best of luck tonight, I hope the show goes on as sched. Be warm, travel safe..... Yak |

I just read at yahoo that 22.8 inches of snow have so far fallen in Central Park. ;'(

It's dangerous here. There's 2 feet of snow - if I go in I may never get out of the city. Does anyone know anything -- Have the LH and INXS been able to leave Atlantic City? |

Rats. I've been looking forward to this for four months! Although I'm not surprised; it's really the right thing to do. And at least they will reschedule. I assume they will honor the same seats at the later show?

I just posted that in a separate thread! I had checked INXS.com a half hour ago and it wasn't there, so I guess they just made the decision.
I'm glad. It's really treacherous out there.
By Tuesday, I'll be able to see Marty at CBGBs

I'm actualy relieved it was postponed, however I will scream if LH do not open! It was so miserable yesterday, I wouldn't have made it anyway.
