Oh thats great. I dont know what to wear? should I wear my lovehammer shirt with long sleeve white thermal shirt underneath, leather coat and black levis and my black skeecher boots? Is it going to be roasting? I could dress nicer..... I dont know!! RB - Even if the weather's warm during the day, it always gets cool at night here. It's likely to be hot inside the club, though. Oh well, they had BETTER have a coat check there. I might have a bag of souveniers from the Rainbow and Hard Rock so they better check that as well. Plus I might want Viper merch or if the LH have any merch. mrsbud- will they look at me funny if I go for a late afternoon swim if I want to on Friday. LOL |

Or I could unzip and whip out a large cucumber wrapped in tin foil "ala" spinal tap! No, no. It's gotta be a sock. LOL It may be warm enough for a swim, RB. Hotels usually heat their pools. The weather's certainly been almost warm enough. Our pool is about 65 degrees right now and I'm not about to heat it! |

I think my "sitter" mom can't get here early enough. I'll check again, 'cuz we'd love to join you guys. Rockbeast, wish I could go the the HUGE dinner party you all are planning before the VR show! Sounds like it's going to be a good one. Are you guys just going to reserve a whole restaurant? LOL All of us have to watch out about starting our drinking TOO early (I do at midnight. |

We'd be so excited if you could join us for dinner before the gibson show. I hope it works out. We are talking about Hard Rock at CItiwalk so there won't be any commuting between dinner and the show.
LOL at the starting drinking too early. I realized that if I start too early--I'll be asleep in my car by the time the Viper Room concert starts. I can rock the way I used to--just can't drink the way I used to. ;D

Ok guys I did my "dry" run over the weekend here is my special report (ahem) from the Gibson exit to the Viper room is 15 minutes in regular traffic. Being a Friday night I would add an additional 10. Parking there is a public parking place about two blocks before the Viper room. I believe the sign said $6 an hour. Viper room is Tiny blink and miss it. Has a black awning and is on the corner of Sunset and Larabee. It is directly across the street from the Whiskey A Go Go. The Viper does have a parking space in back(on Larabee) but it's small and is shared w the Whiskey. The only price notice said "Flat fee after 6pm" I'm guessing $20. Do not park on the street on Larabee its residential permit only and you will get a ticket. There is very limited metered parking up and down the street. I tried going further up Sunset but couldn't see much (pedestrians DO NOT pay attention to traffic laws please be careful).
Rockbeast as for coat check ummm I don't think they have one if they don't you are welcome to stash your stuff in my car trunk (provided I don't have to park a mile away). Ok that's it so taking that all into consideration and being the paranoid person I am I think I'll leave the Gibson at 10:30p. Another aside for those not familiar w/ Universal/Gibson just my humble opinion but it's worth the $17 for preferred parking. It's so much easier to park in the structure doesn't take a long time to get there and find your car and get out. General parking is way out in BFE and is easy to "misplace" your car and there are very few parking attendants out there. Ok if I think of anything else I'll let you guys know. ;D

I think 8:00 sounds good. Gives us all a chance to sightsee, rest, etc. before meeting up. Then if we spend a couple hours at dinner we can head over to the Viper at 10:30 or so. Okay with everyone? LOL I am now meeting up with fellow hammerhead Tisha aka spiritgateway at the airport, her flight gets in 30 mins before mine and then we are commuting together to my hotel (where a few other hammerheads are staying) and Tisha is going to freshen up in Gina's room as I will do in my room and then I dont know what we will be doing.... Checked out the menu and I might have the Steak and Lobster dinner. LOL www.rainbowbarandgrill.com |

awesome I am leading the street team for the viper room also so I will bring flyers and stickers and other stuff.
I also found out that I can hand out sample cd's with 2 LH tracks on them so I will have them also
