what is the best way to meet marty

Hey every one who has gone to the concerts so far,
what should I do to get a picture and a hug from Marty?
should I wait until inxs starts the first song and go look
in the lobby for them, or go to the buses or what? I don't care to see inxs, so tell me what have been your
easiest so far to get him to talk to you? I was at the
metro flew from Ca and did not know they would do a
meet and greet and left to soon, and could just kick myself for that, I will be going to Oakland tomorrow and
I have to get a hug this time or I will die! Can I really bring my digital camera in with no problem? please respond all you fortunate ones who got hugs and pics.

I'm going to the Oakland concert too. I'm going early so maybe we could look for each other in the lobby. I want to get in when the doors open. I'll be with my 11 year old, blond daughter. We'll have our wristbands and I'll be wearing a black LOVEHAMMERS short sleeve tee. From reading some of the threads it seems like the best place to see them is right after their show, in the lobby. I'm not going to see INXS anyway. I really want to meet them, especially Marty. Maybe we can take pictures for each other? I hope all the LH fans are cool, not pushy. I always feel bad for celebs. who get mobbed. It seems if we're cool they will be more inclined to want to meet us.

Andrea, I'm jealous you got to see him in Chicago. You probably got pretty close. My tix for the Oakland show are toward the back. I'll look for you, I'm Desiree. Too bad the show's on a Monday cause it makes it hard to get there after work, and I live a couple hours away. My daughter had to get all her homework early and do it over the weekend so she could go with me. We've gone to lots of concerts together... all the way from Christian rock to Prince. We only go see the best.

oh I forgot I even got to run my hand across his chest when he walked through the crowd singing it was so awsome, also grabbed his hair as he walked away, but I did not know they
would be meeting and greeting after and I left I was so mad the next day, I flew from CA to go, but I do have family there and in WI so it was worth it.

When he came out in Highland, the girls started running towards his direction. I was like the 6th one that got there and they already got their attention and really couldn't get my turn. I positioned myself next to him (like beside him), At this point he still has his attention to the women in front of him, so I grabbed for his hand....(It was his left hand!!!) It was so soft, but strong and sexy!!! And that's when he focused his attention to ME!!!! So sorry to the women whom he was chatting with but I neeeeeed my moment with HIM!!!! When he's talking to you, it feels like no one else is around, Earth slowed down! Marty will give you his full attention and he's very attentive and sweet!!! Gosh I wish I got the whole moment videotaped!!! I have him and me on my cellphone but I don't know how to transpose it on to my computer. Yes, I'm computer dumb!!! Please help!!!

I do want to meet Marty, but want to see INXS too. I'm wondering if there will be a huge Lovehammers mob and it will be so impossible, but will do it if they will let me in the auditorium after (don't mind if I miss part of it) but if I can't get back in I will just stay in and think it was great that I saw them in concert.

After INXS played in Chicago my friend and I went outside by the LH tour bus and they were seriously standing there just talking to people. Bobby, Billy and Dino went on the bus and then Marty stayed out and talked to everyone. Strangely there were only a handful of people waiting for them getting pics and autographs so it was not too difficult. Kind of bizarre being in their hometown and all...but it was awesome!!

At the Detroit show Wednesday night, I got up very close to him when he came down the aisle during a song. I reached up and he leaned over so I could touch his arm. Being that close to gaze into those gorgeous eyes made me happy! I did see some posts that some people got to meet him while INXS was playing - I think in a stairway or something.

Good luck - and if he comes down your way while he's singing, don't miss out!

I was one of those people who met Marty in the hallway & the others in the stairway at Detroit....here is my suggestion.

If you don't care about watching INXS head to the Lobby.....find the merchandise area and just hang out. If you don't see them after about 1/2 hour or so walk around....talk to some of the security just see what you can find out. Our show there was no official meet & greet so you just have to be persistent and at the very least find the bus!!!! We sort of hung out at the closest exit to where the buses were. The stage door was there and we had seen Dino in that stairway a little earlier but security would not let us back there at first.

I met Marty and all the other Lovehammers at the Charlotte show.. it was strangely simple!!

We just waited outside near the bus after the show and eventually they all came out - I mean, hello? They have to get on the bus sometime!! Anywho so they all came out and stopped and actually had great conversation with EVERYONE.. no one was left behind without a hug, a chat, a pic, or anything .. it was very cool.. And of course a once in a lifetime chance...

Out of all the concerts I have ever been to in my life, the Lovehammers are the only ones to actually care what I had to say, to chill with us after the show, and to just be real normal people and be so kind and sweet!! Most bands are just happy to get your money but meet you?? egad.. no way!

So all in all, it was very cool.

I am so impressed.

Looks like Jodie knows the best about how to do it, but my advice is BE ON YOUR TOES.

You will be melting with nerves, but do not be scared of the security and do not be scared of the management. Don't let them frazzle you out of your LH moment. You might not get another one.

Unless your Jodie! That girl is my fan idol!

Anyways, Marty wants to talk to us. They all want to talk to us. Remember that. But also remember, respect the band. Don't let your excitement disturb them. At one point Billy had a lot of camera flashes in his face and he said this is not the paparazzi or something like that. So I told my boyfriend to stop. Everyone else was still doing it, but we just backed up to give Billy room to be Billy.

That's the only thing that is really important. If you wait patiently, they will give you their full attention and they are happy to give you what they got. Just remember they are human and tired because they gave us all they got on stage and they have to get on the bus and go do it again. But even so they STILL want to meet US! Isn't that the best news ever! So don't worry if they are tired or you feel rushed. Just slow it down for your pace and for the band's pace and you'll get what you need.
