Maybe we could start a little club
I think a good name would be "THE WHITE PANTS CHIX"
and get together and talk white pants I think it would be a good pick me up until we have a show to go to I have some ideas that would keep us busy until then
would you guys be interested
We could pick a half way point
although I'm not sure where exactly any of you "WHITE PANTS CHIX" live
But it would be a good heart lifter to be in the company of people with the same interests
If anyone thinks of a better name let us know

My Obsession - It's not easy for me to get away (2 kiddies at home) but I'm perfectly willing to chat with you here. We can start a White Pants Fan Chix club. Our only requirement is that you are usually a sound minded girl (or guy - we don't discriminate) who loose all sense of reason when we see Marty in his White Pants.

Our main focus can be to get LH to come to NY and give a meet & greet.

Our first meeting can be in the front row of whatever venue they choose to perform. We'll let Wendy sit in the dead center .

Of course we'll have to ask Weatheredinboston to be an honorary member.

I'll come up with ideas on Monday. We can do it!!!

I'm def looking to sell my tickets too, but maybe they'll refund them also? Weren't they doing that for the other dates that were rescheduled?

Oh well, all we can do is hope LH will come back to NYC which I really think they will with the warm welcome they got at CBGB's It really sucks about INXS though...

Hello Everyone, yes I feel bad for all us waiting for the NY show to be rescheduled, - However, I did see people selling tickets on e-bay for this show beleive it or not, just said that it would be rescheduled - They were selling 4 tickets for 400.00 Here is the link, I am so glad I did not try and win them !!

I know it is terribly disappointing for you guys who missed the concert that was supposed to be on the 12th -

but, I'd like to look at this and the LH not going to Canada with INXS for the next leg or rest of "world" tour like this:

Marty Casey and Lovehammers have Graduated to Headliners (a little faster than some folks might have expected when certain offers were made last summer) - so they are getting more & better opportunities to showcase the amazingly talented Rockin' Band that they are!!

Can't wait!!

I was lucky to be first dead center at CBGB, I was first online line, so waiting in line 7 hrs really paid off, well worth it - would do it again in a heartbeat

Ditto. Although at CBGB's I got there only an hour and a half before doors, and I think you and a few other people were the only people in front of me, and the line didn't get much longer. I have a feeling the next time LH are around they're going to be much more popular *fingers crossed* and those 7 hrs of waiting are gonna be necessary!

Count me in for the regrouping at LH's next NY show, whenever and wherever that will be. I'm one of the unfortunates who had tix for the snowed-out date. But, oddly, I feel pretty philosophical about this ... mainly because I think their next NY appearance will probably be more substantial than their 40-minute openers for INXS have been! As for recouping my losses, I can't imagine that INXS/Avery Fisher won't offer a refund option for those who, um, "can't make" the new date, just like they did for the "bronchitis" shows, so no worries on that count, either.

Also, add me to the White Pants Club roster. I've never seen a pair of Marty's pants that I didn't like, so I guess I qualify

Absolutely! I'm still waiting for him to wear the lace-up pants he wore during the first version of Trees! (And how nuts is it that I can remember everything he were for every performance.)

Are you freaking kidding me??? 90% of the reason I got the damn tickets was for LH This is so my luck!

I am a mom of 2, and it's hard for me to get into the city often. I hope when they come back, I am able to see them or I will scream! Maybe I will make a shirt that says "where's Marty" and wear it the night of the rescheduled show

Hey guys!!

The night hubby & I showed up for the cancelled concert, the ticket booths were open and they told us that you could get your refund right away or wait until you find out the re-scheduled date and then still be able to get your money back. I'm getting a refund.

Thanks for the kind thoughts regarding my accident. Now that a few days have gone by, the shock has wore off and I'm a little shakey. I can't believe we all walked away from a head on collision. I know a lot of you are Mom's and let me tell you the worse feeling in the world is the impact and having your children in the back seat. Ugh it's the scariest thing. Thanks God for seat belts and airbags.
