I did the whole "presale" thing this morning on inxs.com for Vancouver and only got really crap choices  I'm not taking a 6 hour trip for bad seats and NO lovehammers. No way. I hope the boys do their own tour soon, cause I'm going through withdrawls and it's ain't pretty! I wouldn't drive 6 hours to see the new INXS if I had front row seats and back stage passes. |

I know some Canadians were thinking about ordering the tickets just in case. Well, if the tour was coming back to Detroit (near me) I personally wouldnt buy. Gotta know that Lovehammers are going to be there first. And I've got a feeling about this... If they were going to be invited, they would have already been asked. Save your money for the REAL shows. Our Lovehammers HEADLINING!!
Its gonna happen. I'm sure of it.

A blessing in disguise mes petites cheries.. I personally cannot wait for the full-length, up-close-and-personal extravaganzas that we know are coming when our guys can finally drop that "XS" baggage they've been dragging around on tour with them...  I concur! |

WOW.......that blows me away!!!! Thanks so much for looking into this....I was all set to order through pre-sale tomorrow....would have had a job selling them after finding out Lovehammers weren't the opening act!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a dissapointment! I'm glad I bumped this. I had a feeling there were others like me who missed the message hidden in another thread. I received a PM from another fan who wishes to remain anonymous who heard from a reliable source that: They are NOT BOOKED to play with INXS in May but do have two dates at the end of May for Ohio and North Carolina. Doesn't help us Canadians but hopefully they'll come back here on their own. OHIO!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? You all know I would be there!!!! LOL Waiting for the day I don't have to fly to see them. ; ) Better get Street teaming. : ) (even though I know that this is not confirmed but it is another reason to get out there. ) |

I emailed Dino this afternoon to see if there was any news here... and his response was.... I think that is a question for INXS...So that tells you how Lovehammers feel.... Judy So are u going to get Cheeky with inxs  TREES TRESS!!! I'm afraid I won't be getting CHEEKY with INXS....but I'll get CHEEKY with Marty anyday!!! Did you get tickets? Well....no big surprise here but.....I emailed INXS....what a chore...their web-site says that INXS cannot answer their emails since they would get so many they wouldn't be able to carry on with their regular lives if they did (that's why Dino is SO GREAT!!!  ....anyhow....I was able to email the support desk and this is the response I got...... Greetings, Hi, The tour has not announced who will be opening for the next leg but when they do, we'll announce it via the site and the newsletter! I heard from a friend today that Inxs was going to Vancouver. I thought I got to get tickets, I need to see Marty and LH again. I am having major withdrawals, I saw them in Vancouver and it was sooo long ago. I'm glad I saw this thread. I have saved some time in ordering tickets.I wont go if Marty is not there. Thanks. LH please come to Canada soon, we need you.  |

It really bites that Canadian fans aren't going to get their Lh fix (at least yet). But, I think it will be best for Lh to tour with a band that is more their style of music. I think this is really good news, for Lh.

I just heard on the radio (BOBFM - Ottawa) that the Lovehammers were going to be opening for them here! I bought tickets just in case but would love confirmation. Anyone else hear anything??

My understanding is STILL that they will probably NOT be opening for INXS on the second leg of the tour.

Hear that shattering sound? That is the sound of my heart absolutely BREAKING!!! I saw that INXS was playing in Kitchener in May...a show i could finally get to being so far from anything...and i was sooooo elated! However.... if LH is not there...I'm not going to be there either...thanks sooo much for the info before i wasted my money(nothing against INXS of course but I"m in it for LH)...hopefully they'll play somewhere close to me soon!!! I have yet to see them live but HUGE thanks to all that add reviews and pics of the shows to keep me in the loop!  |

Don't want to start a rumor here, but I think it would be smart for INXS to ask Suzie McNeil to open some, if not all, dates in Canada. She sings on the Hot Girls track with JD on SWITCH, it's really good actually, one of the better songs. And from what I understand Suzie's got a great stage show and lots of experience. Would be a good business decision for them, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Sorry to bum out LH fans....

Not a bad idea pdvha. Lovehammers need to be headlining.
And I think alot of Hammerheads love Suzie, especially RockBeast, and I believe she and Marty are good friends. It could be a big opportunity for her and I for one would be happy to see her do well. ;D

Deanna sings in the background on Hot Girls and Suzie sang the beginning of God's Top Ten. I think that Suzie would do better as part of the show than the opener. I'd love to hear her sing "Us" again and I'd love to see JD and Suzie do God's Top Ten together. |

sorry canadians but if the lovehammers don't open for inxs it might mean they have a little more time to regroup rest and kick off a great show on their own and maybe we will be able to have more than 45 of heaven this could be a good thing     ;D |

Soooo that means they will be at the Cincinnati and Columbus dates??? That is part of the 2nd leg so I'm thoroughly confused! I don't want to drive to see just INXS. This is the only post I've found that they WOULD be playing Ohio. Anyone? Bueller?

I'm sure we'll all hear confirmed dates for LH when they're official but I almost died just now when I saw this thread - even though it was from a month ago. Ohio dates (I live in Western PA so that's not too much of a hike) and North Carolina dates (I'm originally from there and will gladly visit there for ANY reason anyway).
That would be SO cool!!
