I'd also like to add that the Sisterhood is not affiliated with this benefit. We've received information from the coordinator of the event but that is the extent of the Sisterhood involvement. We cannot help out by providing details because we do not have any. I would advise that the organizers of the event post the information on this board and on the Lh boards as the Sisterhood is not directly involved.

Hammerfest? Who is organizing this event? Or is that just the e-mail address that someone is using or something?

Thanks cfeelr. Still a little stumped about the hammerfest reference though? I thought that hammerfest was being organized by someone from LH.com who was in contact with the band.

I had the exact same thoughts and confusion. I asked why it was being called Hammerfest and the explanation that I received was that since it is a Habitat for humanity benefit and the organization uses a lot of hammers and because they are planning the event to be like a festival they decided to call it Hammer-Fest. When I mentioned my confusion regarding the name of the event the organizer said that she was unaware of the band's Hammerfest.

We are moving this thead to the Tour Talk section of the board, which is for speculation about upcoming shows and reviews of shows that have occurred. If this concert is confirmed by Lovehammers or their reps, we will open a thread for it in Tour Towns and Ticket Exchange.
Please note that, as far as we know, this concert has not been confirmed by Lovehammers.

I was surprised (and disappointed) when I saw that they were planning to call it Hammer-Fest....whether or not it has the dash between the words or not, it is confusing to u and me....pardon the pun.... I can't imagine how many others would be disoriented by it. |

Ceeje, Could you delete my original post? I wanted to share some good news, but now I think I've just stirred things up and it turned into a bit of a mess on the LH board. I'd rather not be the one responsible for that because I have too much respect for the Lovehammers. Thanks
