I have about 20 inches of snow on my deck! No answer at Avery Fisher Hall box office. OMG you guys I am sooooooooo sorry, but "maybe" they wont cancel it and just postpone it? That really would suck if they cancelled tonight I feel your pain though, I am scheduled to fly into Kennedy the day after tomorrow early in the morning for the CBGB's show......hope its all cleared by then!!?!!!! |

Oh I thought you were in the city. Yeah it would suck if you were driving in from CT, PA, NJ, etc... forget that!! The airlines I am flying have cancelled all the flights in and out of LaGuardia today. I am flying into Kennedy, the Blizzard is supposed to stop by 4:00pm today. What I am wondering is its supposed to stay in the 30s (high 38) up until the whole week with more snow and sleet scheduled for Thursday or was it Friday. I hope it melts. If this storm messes with my trip from the West Coast I will so much there will be a FLOOD in Seattle, Washington. |

Once the snow stops, the city will get humming again pretty quickly, especially if the temperature is in the high '30s. But it will be one major mess, so for all of you who are coming in, wear waterproof boots, and pants and coats you don't care about. The hems are going to get wet!
Still don't know about tonight, but Mayor Mike is asking people to stay home. Does anyone know if the bands left AC last night or were waiting until this morning? If they stayed in Jersey, I can't see how they will make it into Manhattan by tonight.

It is with great regret that INXS has been forced to postpone tonight's show (Sunday 12 February) at New York's Avery Fisher Hall.
The snow storms and extreme weather conditions have raised grave concerns over the safety of fans attempting to travel to and from the sold-out show.
All tickets for this show will be honoured at a later date - still to be confirmed. More information will be available shortly on INXS.com.
Monday night's show at the same venue WILL go ahead as planned.

I just tried calling and her voice mail came on, so I left her a frantic message. She was in a car accident after the Aragon show, driving back to PA |

That's what has me worried, too. I know it's only been a week, but I thought we'd have heard something by now, especially because we're such a big market.
I'm going through LH withdrawal, and was really looking forward to this show to give me a boost!
