I'm going to the Detroit show. How many are meeting at the Hard Rock? Will the area be cleaned up and will we be able to get there after SB XL? What time?

I'm bummin'

A couple of weeks ago, I bought tickets to the Detroit show on ebay and they're still not here.

I'm in Maine and if I had the tickets, I could possibly go, would have to drive out there on Tuesday, but since they're not here yet, I'm obviously running out of time.

They're good tickets too! (unless I've been scammed, hope not!)

I guess what I'm saying is: if anyone needs tickets to this show, they could pm me and if the tickets arrive on Monday, possibly I could overnight them somehow.

Otherwise, I'm SOL and those seats will be empty, which is beyond thinkable.. argh!!

Hey gingerpyle. Try to contact the seller and see if they can transfer the tickets into your name and then contact wherever they were purchased from (or the seller can do this) and have them held at the Masonic at Will Call. I lost my tickets (told them that I never received them) and called ticketmaster to replace them and they told me they would be held at Will Call and I could pick them up before the show.

Can't wait to see Marty and the LH in Detroit on Wed! Can anyone tell me if camera's with lenses are allowed (SLR)? I'd love to be able to take some photos. Thanks! Lisa

My tickets bought on ebay finally arrived today...10 days in Express Mail...sheesh...

Is there a good place to stay nearby the venue in Detroit if I were to drive out there from Maine? Any locals with good information to share?

woo hoo ginger!! glad the tickets came. We have some staying at the Mariott since it is close to the Masonic. I will check my mail box and see if I can figure out who it is and I will pm you.

They came yesterday, but I'm too far away and it'd be too hard if not impossible to come now...and no way to sell my tickets to someone else either. This stinks.

Maybe you guys can figure out a way (got someone with an "in"at the Masonic?) to have someone let you use those seats, since I'm for sure not coming...if you can, I'll tell you which seats they are.

There are some tickets on ebay at the moment that won't be able to be used either as they are too far away. One ticket for sale was in the pit!
Bummer!!

I'd be happy to use mine for memorablilia but they only say INXS, not Lovehammers...Bummer again!!!
I'll live, but it's a sad night for Ginger..

Cindy I am going and would love to take pics but I don't know if they're allowing SLR cameras. I'm going to call the venue directly when they open at noon to check. I have decent seats so I'd love to capture the moment!

I've just spoken with the venue and they say no cameras are allowed. Tried to explain that the bands DO allow cameras but they are saying their venue does not. Guess I'll take it and leave it in the trunk just in case. Drat!

Hey Cindy. kimberlyinthetrees is in charge of the pics since she is so good at it. I think we should have about 20 Hammerheads and their guests, so good reports I hope. (I suck at it) Get too worked up and cant remember even what my name is. lol
p.s. we are all meeting at HardRock before the show (about 4pm)

Pam and everyone it was so nice to meet you all!!!! I promise I will send the photos to whoever I owe them to after I get the film developed one hour and scan them. Hopefully I will have time today....if not it will be done by the weekend.
