I guess these look as good as they're going to so here's the rest - the concert shots are mostly from the Jacksonville show (at least the halfway decent ones are!), the meet and greet are from Clearwater (the only one they got to do in FL), and the ones with me and Marty are from Boca. I especially like the photo from the meet and greet because when I asked Marty to sign that one the next day in Boca, even HE remarked that it was a good photo ;D . My friend who was taking these photos said she couldn't hear what was being said but she definitely noticed a change of expression on Marty's face. I told him that while I thought they were great in Jacksonville the night before, somehow they were even better in Clearwater that night. He seemed surprised that I had seen them twice so of course (!) I had to let him know that I was seeing them the next night as well and that I'd flown down from Pittsburgh to see them. He asked, "didn't we play in Penn?" and I said yes but on the other end of the state, it was more fun to come to Florida to see them three times. He just beamed at that. photobucket.com/albums/f387/claryrowe/Lovehammers%20in%20Florida/?action=view&slideshow=trueFor anyone who happened to see all three dates in Florida, was it just me or was the Clearwater show just exceptional?? They were ALL outstanding shows but somehow that Clearwater show was just something else - and remember this was BEFORE I'd met them so I can't say that had anything to do with it. The Boca show was a little spoiled for me by the incredibly obnoxious crowd where I was (8th row); I just hated that venue. But, I don't hate it too much because I got to talk to Marty both before and after they played! As I mentioned elsewhere the other guys seemed very nice but I don't think they heard me when I tried to catch their attention. But then again, I don't know that I was even audible, hee hee. If my friend hadn't been there and not made me miss the opportunity to talk to Marty, I might have missed that (I can be shy!) Anyway, it was an incredible weekend and I am finally, slowly recovering.........not that I necessarily WANT to recover but I do need to work and earn money so I can finance another trip like this one!! But thinking along those lines, when I was flying home from Ft Lauderdale the next day the flight was overbooked so I volunteered my seat and took a miserably later flight but was already thinking ahead - now I have a free flight so I can go somewhere else to see them

Nice shots! And I love the idea about using your credit for a flight to the next show! I'm going to sell my seats for the INXS makeup show in NY and put the money aside for the same purpose. Maybe Hammerfest ...

Bauhaus - well.......I finally got to see THEM in November after liking them - and their various solo and side projects for so long. As I've mentioned elsewhere I had nicer clothes I was planning to wear to the Boca show but was so tired by the time I got there decided to just go with what I was wearing which happened to be that t-shirt. Then when Marty remarked, "cool shirt" when he saw it, it just added to my experience, hee. (Okay, I'm a nerd but a happy nerd.)

You will never, never know how much your pictures mean to me. I was at the DC show, where it was freezing, about 18 degrees. There was a Meet and Greet and I did get to have Marty sign my CD but it was so cold that night I could hardly wait to get back to the hotel. Besides I was in the nose bleed section with NO camera. Grrr, but it was a great show.

This reply is 40 ,minutes later. My puter did some funny things and would not write as I typed. AARRGGHH Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I was at the clearwater Concert and the DC concert. Marty was great both times but did not see him too well at either one as I did not have good seat. HOWEVER, I am soooo glad not that I have pictures of the Clearwater concert , Now i have some memories. The Meet and Greet Pics are neat. I keep looking for me in them, hoping someone got me by accident. My son did take one of Marty signing a picture and it came out pretty good but that was the only one. He only got the back of my head though. Marty was sosooooo special. He takes time for everyone and the other three guys are also dolls. I especially liked Billy. That is what Iwanted to say. A big THANK YOU for the memories. If I knew how to post pics , I would, but I am a real computer dummy.

Hey Jean, Don't worry about being a "computer dummy" -- i think I can safely say that many of us are starting out the same (myself especially included!) If you want to learn how to post pix, just go to the forum support thread; there are instructions there. Hope to see the back-of-the-head pic soon! chk

Jodieca, Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny that Marty's under a poster about dessert (I think someone else commented on this in another post). Makes you wonder if the Ruth Eckerd hall has that poster up ALL the time or just put it up for him . Whichever, it's more than appropriate! Jill
