Jean, I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos. Our seats weren't that great either - the camera was just good! Plus there were some JD fans in front of us in Clearwater holding up a Canadian flag...oh wait, that was for JD - it was my friend who was upset with that as she missed shots of JD! (I'm not making fun, just momentarily losing more of my mind.) She got plenty of shots of him though plus she met JD casually in the hotel bar - he was nice in case anyone is interested. Anyway, I'm glad these pics bring back some memories for you. Everyone's descriptions are bringing back memories for me  That's what's so fun about these boards. Now on to the NEXT Lovehammers gig - just tell me when and where. Am I insane? In a quite moment at work today I actually started checking prices for flights from Pittsburgh to Chicago! No, I'm not a stalker but started thinking "if they're only doing local shows for a bit......" wishful thinking. Incidentally, the flights were very cheap!!  Jill |

Sorry that I just remembered this but it's amazing what catching up on some sleep will do for your memory - In the photo were Marty is wearing shades, we'd waited outside their bus in Boca for an hour and it'd gotten dark and he came out about 7:40. My friend asked if she could take a photo and he thought she meant with her. She said not her but pointed towards me. He walked over by me, reached over and touched my right hand and sort of held it - not like you're holding hands but when you want to make contact with someone? Does anyone know what I mean? Just this very gentle gesture.  He started to explain that he couldn't because he needed to go warm up his voice plus he was supposed to meet the owner of the Chicago White Sox. I don't know what my friend said but he said "OK" and the next thing I know the flash is going off (that's why I have that deer in the headlight look). Then he was gone and we needed to figure out how to get inside of the venue so off we went........ |

Jill Hey Jcr, I recommend getting to a Chicago show, insane or not! My hubby and I flew from NC on a whim to the Aragon show, and my friend Butterflynclouds DROVE from NC on even more of a whim to the Joe's Bar show. Crazy? Hmmmm.... but they were two of the best times I have ever had, so if they play Chicago, GO FOR IT! ;D By the way, your pictures are great! |

When I said that my son got a few pictures of my backside, I really meant my BACKSIDE, AAARRGGHH
But I will forgoe the modesty and post them anyway.

Lost your phone number, but could not figure out why you were not siiting next to me until the lady who WAS there pointed out that the seats were numbered odd and even, so you were at the OTHER end. Tried to find you but there was tooooo much exitement. I think I would have been trampled , either by the JD crowd OR the Marty crowd.
There WILL be a next time. even if a divorce looms ahead. My hubby is NOT a fan. Especially when I go away and spend money. Phooey.
He thought I was in DC on business and because my son was a rock and roller he did not question my being at the Clearwater concert.
Wish I lived in Chicago!!!!!!!

jcr,thanks for the great pictures hadnt seen those,lucky you having your picture made with marty he is such a sweethart.went to the atlanta show and didnt get to get any pictures they were so stricked there.thanks again love a hammerhead.
