So do you just go there and you don't need a ticket or anything? What kind of set up are they going to have and how do we verify this?

Verify it? Go to lovehammers.com . It's in the news section.
I don't know about the tickets or the set up.

Sheesh....our Lhs are international superstars! Hope Best Buy will be ready for the crowd control, it could get ugly if people travel all the way there then can't get in.. This actually kinda makes me nervous for our guys..am I the only one thinking this way?

I don't understand why they are playing store openings instead of being on tour. What's up with that? Oh, a reminder for everyone who goes--there was a pickpocket at the Virgin Megastore performance who victimized at least 1, if not more, LH fans, so keep a tight hold on your purses and wallets!

This seemed very strange to me too. . .kind of anti-climatic. .. However, let's trust Marty. . .he will make the best decisions for him and the band. I really wish they would release a really rocking LH tune so the radios will pick it up and it will bowl the rest of the world over (the ones that they haven't already bowled over!) Like Casualty or the clinic

I would think any opportunty for the public to hear Lovehammers live is a step in the right direction.
Anyone in the area planning to go should be armed with flyers to pass out. Those with extra cash should buy a few cd's to hand out too. Definitely a good street teaming opportunity since it will be general public attending a grand opening event and not necessarily only fans going to hear a band.
Still kicking myself for not settling down in Chicago when I got married. Had my husband relocate to good ole CT!
Penny you are lucky you get to go. Spread the love and take pictures:)

I was thinking that too, but then I realized that Best Buy will likely be advertising this in their other Chicagoland stores up until the events. It might be great publicity for the guys and could result in lots of CD sales. I'll check my local Best Buys to see if they have any notices about this. I am going to try to get a bunch of friends to go with me (no cost, so why not?). This is an easy way to convert people. C'mon up Isa!

I agree, really strange place for them to be at right now but- of course I will be there with bells on! I wish they could just throw another quickie show together like they did here at Joe's Bar in February. That way they could make some cashola and treat their fans!!! I wonder if they cant do that anymore due to contracts, agencies, managers etc....I have a feeling they would've done it already if they could since they are hanging in Chicago now anyways waiting for a plan of action!!!

I really wish I could go - wah ! j/k, but it would be fun. I don't see a problem with it. It's not like they re-scheduled or put off something else. It's a fairly easy thing for them to do. It's a good chance they'll be exposed to some non-Hammerheads and bam - there's the CD right in the store. Not bad to make a connection with Best Buy either. Something is better than nothing.
