Lollapalooza is being held August 4-6 at Grant Park in Chicago. The festival boasts 3-days of music and over 130 bands. As of now there are a little under 100 bands that have been announced. (The line-up is less than stellar, but I'm still going.) How about we petition the promoters to put Lovehammers on the line-up? It couldn’t hurt, right? Please send an email & remember to be polite. Thanks. Here’s the info for the booking agency: Charles Attal Presents 98 San Jacinto Suite 430 Austin, Texas 78701 hello@capresents.com***I posted this at Lh.com already.

Thanks beantown. That would be awesome! Also, I don't know if this has been discussed but there is also the Lollapalooza Message Board: www.lollapalooza.com/forum/That has a Lineup/Artists section.

Sure sounds like a gig to continue World Domination!!! Wonder if Marty is aware of it? or Doc McGee? They must be ;D So I wonder if they want some help I checked archives and did a search for Lovehammers nothing came up.... Not to start rumours here, but this sounds like a place to get exposure ;D There is a discussion from a few people who would love to see Pearl Jam play, though there is doubt they are too big and busy now. Pearl Jam played there in 1992. Pearl Jam is one of Sony/BMG Artists so maybe Sony won't want LH to here www.lollapalooza.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=5032The site just opened up on April 13/06 and this caught my eye... _____________________________________________________________ Quote by Admin of LollapaloozaHi folks. Just making sure you saw the new Lolla Radio feature on the lollapaooza.com website? I know some of you have mentioned it already... If you go to the LINEUP page of the website and click any band, you'll see the photo, bio, web link, and :30 second song clip. Pretty soon we hope to have one-click access to purchase the song you're hearing. Also, once the schedule is released this summer... you'll be able to sort bands by DAY and STAGE. This is a killer way to discover new bands on the lineup... so check it out! _____________________________________________________________ I'm Canadian... so what do I know eh? Just my 2 cents worth

I sent an email to lollapalooza. Just heard back from them. All tthat was said was that the lineup is complete. How sad! What about Summerfest in Milwaukee? They have played there before and it is kind of local!

I just suggested Lovehammers for next year at the Lollapalooza forum. Please add your requests - www.lollapalooza.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=6223PS. Registering for this board is quick & easy. Once you register you can post. You don't have to wait for an e-mail or anything like that.

Personally, I hope the band is touring by then. Right now, they are playing isolated events which must get really frustrating for them. it's certainly frustrating for me!!!!

I also heard that the line up is complete, but in a few months they will be booking for the next year. Here's part of the response I got:
"We will accept submissions via mail from October 15, 2006 thru February 15, 2007.
Please send only one submission per band."
Someone directly associated with the band needs to get this submission in on 10/15.

What is really ironic is that they WORKED at Lollapalooza last year, driving the bands around the park.

We need to get the gigs that they are working at to be sold out. I know I bought 6 tickets for the Pearl Room, but as of today they still have tickets available. I don't know how many people can fit in there, but I would have thought this would be sold out a lot sooner. Is it being promoted properly? ? I don't think they are going to get a big gigs or tours unless they start selling out the smaller stuff quick.
