Marty mentioned in his diary posting that there will be additional club dates, possibly in July - so don't give up hope yet col - they could still get there!

I think I had read somewhere that they were going to be taking it easy on the account of Dino's fingure repair as well. Joy

I can truthfully say that it is quite unfortunate that the LH didn't choose to reconnect with INXS even though it was a last minute invite. It really seems as though alot of what people are being told about 'great new plans' and 'just tying up loose ends' is just talk. Talk that has been going on since the beginning of March. I am aware that some really unfortunate and unescapable challenges came their way and am very releaved to hear that all is well and Dino is on the mend. With that said I do not live in the USA and am not able to hop on a plane to follow the guys around to the few shows that they are putting on and through that frustration, I am very quickly becoming bored and loosing interest in the LH altogether. I really wish the tour had turned out differently. It is hard to get excited about a group that doesn't seem to exist aside from the cd in my stereo.

Hi wef, I'm sorry to hear that you are becoming discouraged. Please try to be patient. I do live in the states, but am also unable to travel around to see them perform. I did get to see them in Missouri in February. They were so awesome live! I can't wait to see them again. Hopefully their management team will get busy now that Dino is healing. I know the band hasn't given up on their dream. They are getting so close. Try to give them a little more time. This is why I come to the boards. I still can't get enough of them and at this site I can get a lot of info.

It is hard to get excited about a group that doesn't seem to exist aside from the cd in my stereo. Just curious .. where did you see it that they turned down an offer to re-join INXS? I didn't hear that. It is a little baffling that their management team isn't maintaining any momentum off of the original tour, but Dino did really injure his hand badly. And Marty did say that he/they will be doing a guest gig on this years RS. Hope that's true!

I was reading in the most recent issue of Rolling Stone that it is increasingly common for bands to do these festivals instead of 40-city mega-tours. So, even though the LH are only doing local festivals, apparently it is a very lucrative approach. Maybe this is a way for the band to get decent exposure and make good money with minimal expenses.
Has anyone been watching "Supergroup" on VH1? It's a celebreality show about a group of aging rockers (including Ted Nugent and Sebastian Bach) who have been challenged with putting out a record and doing a concert in only 12 weeks. Doc McGhee is the manager. He's not at all what I expected.

wefdweb, I feel your pain!! LH jumped off the INXS wagon just as it pulled into my station. Talk about heartbreak! I was mad for a moment but then remembered that this isn't really about me... it's about what's best for LH and everything they're doing right now (although it may not seem like enough to us) gets them one step closer to all of us. Keep rockin to your CDs... it's that anticipation of seeing them live that makes my heart skip a beat. Hang out here... I don't know what I'd do without the LH stories and pics. You picked up on Lovehammers for a reason and don't lose sight of it... These guys are worthy of every bit of praise we give them and I've realized... worthy of my patience. So, wefdweb... I know you're feeling like a jilted lover but they'll make it up to you one day.

I know you're feeling like a jilted lover but they'll make it up to you one day. Jilted Lover-- that would be an excellent name for a band!
