I was so excited when I saw a Pittsburgh date on the tour schedule. Can't wait to see this show and then HammerJam in October.

I was thinking about taking my kids to this, but I am not sure about the venue...anyone been there before? Kid friendly? Depends upon how short/young your kids are. There is no seating or balcony as I recall. The stage is raised about 3 feet I think, I have not been there in awhile so I can't quite remember, sorry. The under 21 area is the stage area. The bar and over 21 area are in the back of the club (its an old converted church). There is a low barrier I think that divides the 2 sections, and I think there may be a few tables in the back by the bar....No one under 21 is allowed in the bar area, but I may be wrong about that.....It's a tuesday night so I am thinking it may not be too crowded, I think it holds like 600, I cant remember for sure. Doors open at 7PM, the band is scheduled for 8PM. Hard to say if it's kid friendly, depends upon how crowded it is that night...but they might not be able to see the stage well if they are little kids. I hope this helped some...I do look forward to meeting you!

Thanks, that does help a lot. My youngest is 4 my oldest is 16, and there are four others in between them so I have a pretty good range of ages (and heights for that matter). I am not sure yet if I will bring them, I guess I will make that call closer to the event.

aspasia, This is wild. I'm bringing MY daughter.... but she's 33! LOL She's visiting from Chicago. I may be on the old side, but a true fan. When I saw the Pgh date, I was thrilled. After RS, I swore I'd see Marty in concert... SOMEwhere. Glad I don't have to go drive TOO far at the end of the night. fly

LOL, I guess I won't be the only one there with my kids then...I am driving about 3 hours to get there, but it is well worth it.
I'll be the one with all the little girls, hopefully we will get there early enough to get in front so they can see.
p.s. "Old" is relative, isn't it? I feel young, and so I am!

I thought this venue was 21+ only? Just remember when bringing young children, this IS a rock concert. It will be very loud, and probably very crazy.

It is all ages, and while part of me is thinking I am crazy for bringing my kids to a rock concert, the Hammerhead in me thinks it will be all good. I am prepared to get my younger ones out of there if it is too much... OK, I am prepared for my husband to leave with the younger ones anyway Anyway, my girls are too excited about getting to see and meet the band, I could never leave them at home. You are never too old or too young to rock!
