You'll notice that each show's sub-board has a Street Team Roll Call. If you are doing anything to promote the shows, please post it in the Street Team Roll Call thread for the show you're STing. Be specific. Tell us the who, what, when, and where. Where did you post flyers? Who did you talk to (i.e. DJ's). Post pictures, if you can and if it applies. I'll also be creating threads about radio stations for each city. If you would like to help with the radio stations in your area, please do.

The GET LIVE tour is right around the corner and I have an idea to get the word out, besides what everyone is doing. This is something we can ALL do to help the guys out and it’s kind of a whole tour long campaign.
What I am thinking is that we concentrate on each venue area a week before the guys hit it. So we start calling radio stations daily for said area one week before the guys hit it and continue until the day of the show. Once the guys have played there we stop that area and pick up the next one. There will be some overlap and we may end up hitting up to 7 stations a day but I think it will be worth it.
Example:
Starting 7/20 we start calling the St. Louis radio stations daily asking for play and mentioning to the DJ’s where/when they are playing. We also visit websites for the radio, newspapers and other areas folks go to see what is coming up. Then on 7/15 we add the Louisville area to the daily list and on 7/24 Cincinnati area. Of course once the guys play on 7/27 we drop St. Louis and continue moving forward with the other dates on the tour. Folks in the upcoming areas can post in the tour section the places we need to call or websites we should start posting on.
Those in the area where the guys are coming to you can start putting flyers up at local venues, colleges and wherever you think folks will notice them. Contact the clubs too to see if they will let you put flyers up in the clubs.
Another idea takes money so not everyone will be able to do this but an idea is to put an ad in the local papers/weeklies that cover your area. Be sure to see what the lead times is for ads because it may be greater than a week and proper planning may be required. Again this is not for everyone but if you can go for it.
Of course whatever can be done to SPREAD THE LOVE about the GET LIVE tour is great so share your ideas as well.
