Tara asked me to pass this on, just in case anyone did not get this in their email
Hello again, Hammerheads!!
Here's more information for you regarding Saturday, October 14th.
Please keep in mind that none of this is exact, and all listed times are subject to change without further notice if we need to adjust them for some reason.
Schedule of Events:
DOORS OPEN: 6PM
COCKTAIL SOCIAL TIME: 6PM - 8PM
(including finger foods, cash bar, door prize drawings, free t-shirt and poster distribution, and fun with your fellow Hammerheads)
HOTEL 45: 8PM - 8:45PM
COVER CURL: 9PM - 9:45PM
LOVEHAMMERS: 10PM - 11:30PM
LAST CALL: APPROX 2:30AM
DOORS CLOSE: 4AM
Here Are the Top Ten Most FAQ in Tara's Inbox:
10. IS THERE A COAT CHECK? Yes!
9. WHEN DO WE GET OUR FREE T-SHIRTS/POSTERS? See above schedule - 6PM - 8PM we'll be handing these out. At this time, we are expecting that each ticketholder who enters the venue will receive one merchandise ticket. He will then use this merch ticket to claim his free t-shirt and poster at the designated area between 6-8pm. We'll make an announcement on show night if this plan changes and let everyone know what to do.
8. CAN WE SMOKE? Yes - in Smart Bar ONLY. And please note that Smart Bar does not usually open until 10:00 p.m., so plan to get those last drags in before you enter! We're working on this with Metro and might be able to tweak it a bit. We'll see what we can do.
7. DO I NEED TO BRING CASH OR IS CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED? Definitely, absolutely bring cash. At last report from someone who recently attended a show, Smart Bar did not accept credit cards for drinks, and the cash bar at Metro will only accept cash as well.
6. IF SOMEONE DECIDES TO ATTEND AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE, WILL YOU ACCEPT $100 CASH AT THE DOOR FOR ENTRY INTO HAMMERJAM? Yes, but cash only.
5. WILL YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO PUT MY T-SHIRT/POSTER IN? Yes - we are planning to have cardboard tubes and plastic bags so you can safely transport your new HammerJam goodies back home. Just cross your fingers that the UPS guy doesn't screw this plan up! )
4. IS THERE A MEET AND GREET? The band has requested to keep this event as casual as possible, so rather than having a formal, lined-up type of Meet and Greet, the band is planning to mingle with fans throughout the evening to give everyone a chance to say hello.
3. ARE THERE SEATS? Very, very limited seating. Plan to stand all night to be on the safe side. Seats in the balcony are being reserved for the band's friends and family and VIP badge holders.
2. CAN WE BRING CAMERAS? Still-photo cameras are fine. No video cameras.
1. WILL DINO PERFORM SHIRTLESS? I don't hold out much hope for this one, ladies!
Things to Note:
Please come to the show ready to have fun. I am sure I don't need to say this, but just to cover the bases, here goes: be patient and respectful of your fellow Hammerheads. There is plenty of time for food, drink, music, meeting and mingling, free t-shirts and posters, and all the other things we have planned. There is no rush necessary. We have Metro for the whole night, and your HammerJam committee is going to do everything possible to make the evening flow smoothly. If we hit a snag, we'll work around it. No worries! Be happy.
Please be respectful of the band and their time with fans. Remember that there are hundreds of fans in attendance, and everyone is going to want a chance to say hello and talk to the band members.
Please also remember that the band is going to be dealing with hundreds of cameras at HammerJam. We'll also have four professional photographers there. Please try to limit your picture taking to a reasonable level. We want you to get good shots, but we also don't want to blind the boys while they're onstage trying to give us a great performance. We are going to have so many photos of this event that nobody is going to be left wanting, so please keep this in mind when snapping shots of the band. This applies to photos before and after the show as well.
Thank you all so very much again for your tremendous support of the show. Please contact me at SpamDestination@AOL.com if you should have further questions or need any assistance.
See you on Saturday!
Sincerely,
Tara Jordan
