Hello All. I have taken the liberty of setting up a group & meeting fare discount with American airlines. This means that anyone can fly in from any city to Chicago on American airlines and receive a 5% discount off their lowest published fares at the time. Its not much but it all helps right? THIS WILL BE EFFECTIVE MAY 10TH AFTER 12PM P.S.T.You can call American direct to book it at 800-221-2255 (prompt #3) but they charge a $10 service fee to book it. My travel agency can also book it but we have steeper fees for issuing tickets so the cheapest way to do this is online, no service fee applies. Our meeting name is Hammerjam of course and you need to go to www.aa.com to book it and use this code: A36H6AL, that should do it! Travel must be within a 2day prior/2day later window so valid into Chicago from any city during 10/12-10/16, 2006. Not valid in conjunction with other discounts of course and on certain inventory fares. I must say "restrictions apply" to cover myself. Online instructions: got to www.aa.comon left choose Reservations, then book flights, then enter your info...at the bottom will be a spot in #8: AA.com discount code: enter A36H6AL Thats it. When your ready to book, give it a whirl! Rock on, Kellee MODIFIED DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH AMERICAN--THEY SAY IT NOW WONT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL TOMORROW 5/9 SO I WAS PREVIOSLY ADVISED WRONG--SORRY!

Hey sorry the discount code wont be available until tomorrow--American is taking their sweet ass time and told me it would be done sooner, then retracted on it. So I apologize and have modified my post!

This is very cool. Thanks for going to the trouble to do this.
Unfortunately, I live in Podink Florida and American Airlines does not service my local airport Boo hoo! We suck!
I can only do Delta or Northwest if I fly out of here. But thanks Kellee and I am sure others can partake of this.

Thanks Cindy, if there are others who need or like other airlines etc and enough demand let me know I'll set up a contract with them too. I know Chicago Ohare is a hub for American so they fly there nonstop from alot of cities, as United does so just started there with them. Keep me posted too you all and when you do book your flights or whatever so we can maybe coordinate the shuttles? May be too hard but just a thought.

UPDATE! So sorry all.......American is giving me hell. I keep checking and the online system is not synching up with their reservations system so I had to have American fix things again today for this discount code to work online! They tell it me "it could be another 48hrs" from today so just letting you know and I'll keep checking as I plan to book mine this way as well. As soon as its working I'll make another post. Thanks for your patience--airlines suck

UPDATED--------ITS WORKING, ITS WORKING SO GO AHEAD BOOK AWAY ONLINE! www.aa.com, thanks for your patience, sorry for screaming--but whew! Thanks for doing this!! I have a question, do you know if they will add other flights later? I looked on AA website and all they have flying out are M80's?? I usually fly on the 757. Is is because they are booked so far out?. I get terrible motion sickness and have just recently been able to fly, but it was on the bigger planes. I just didn't know if you knew how this worked??? thanks

I prefer the big planes myself but love American personally better than the rest...they have removed a row from coach so over all throughout coach they have mroe room--like United has only removed a row from its first 17 rows and make ya pay highr fare to get that premium economy seat in the first 17 rows etc. Sorry girl, from tampa they are all set to be MD- 80's as of now..its due to the market and how long the flight is and load factor. They may not be right for you but dramamine helps ;D ask Polarfan! Thanks, Kellee

I usually fly out of Orlando because they do have better flights, even though the airport itself is so mismanaged. I will keep waiting and see if they add more. I really like American too, aside from a luggage fiasco when I went to Aragon, their flights are very comfortable. (Ativan works great too lol) Thank you for all the work you put into this.!
