Okay, here's the latest:

I tested the ticket system today and it worked GREAT! YAY!

Please please note that we will have to MANUALLY ADD the ticket link to our HammerShack website at noon tomorrow so that you guys will have access to the tickets.

What does this mean? It means that if the link is not working precisely at noon, do NOT panic! We will have the link ready for you as soon as possible and as close to 12:00 noon as we can possibly make it!

Another note: PLEASE be patient if the website is slow to load. If there are a lot of people using the site at the same time, it could cause it to be slow.

VERY IMPORTANT: I posted earlier that there will be a 4-ticket limit per transaction. However, what I did not realize at that time is that there is also a 24-hour waiting period before you can make ANOTHER transaction. Therefore, please note that the per-transaction ticket limit has been increased to 8 instead of 4. You WILL have the chance to buy more tickets if you wish to do so, but you will need to wait 24 hours before making a second transaction. Sorry for any confusion, but I just found this out today during the tests we ran. Once again, there is going to be an 8-ticket limit per transaction, and there will be a 24-hour waiting period in between transactions.

ALSO: I found out today that you do NOT need to have a PayPal account to purchase tickets! What will happen is that the link will take you to the ticket vendor's site, and if you do NOT have PayPal, you can still purchase tickets with your credit card by using PayPal's system. So basically it's all done via PayPal, but if you don't have an active account, never fear, you should still be able to use credit cards to buy the tix!

So....tomorrow you will click the ticket link. You will go to a page that asks you for the number of tickets you want to buy, then click submit and you just go right through the series of pages until you've paid for your tickets!

THESE WILL BE E-TICKETS ONLY. No hard copies will be mailed. You will need to print your e-tickets and bring them with you to the show!

If you have trouble printing your tickets upon completion of the sale, or your printer is out of ink, or a huge gorilla crashes through your window and destroys your printer before you can print the tickets, DON'T worry! You will receive a confirmation e-mail after your transaction is completed, and the e-mail will contain a link you can use to print up your tickets at any time.

I hope this is pretty much everything. Cross your fingers and make an offering to the technology gods that all goes well tomorrow at noon!!!

I do want to remind everyone....if you go to the site after the ticket sale time and don't see the ticket buying link.....be sure to refresh the page (hold down the shift key and press the refresh or reload button on your web browser). That should cause the cached copy to be released and the new page to load.

AOL users....be warned. AOL sometimes caches sites on their network servers and no matter how many times you press reload or refresh you will not get a current page until AOL renews their cache. It you are having that problem, report back over here, and we will try to come up with plan B for you guys.

We all keep saying it but you guys are all incredible! When my friend was getting tickets for the tour with INXS through INXS' site, she had so much trouble, should have gotten much better tickets the first time, etc., basically you learn through trial and error. You've made this the - I'm apologizing ahead of time if I'm offending anyone - Ticket Buying for Dummies guide! Which is exactly what I need - now if someone just reminds me what tomorrow is!! (Incase the "buy LH tickets at noon" on the printout from that website posted on my computer doesn't already remind me!)

I got my ticket. I was so worried the tickets would be sold out right away before I got in (although I will say I have been literally sitting and going to the site for the past hour). I'm so excited.

I think I've got to be a little nuts though (Hammerhead nuts) - I live in Winnipeg Canada - I won't fly out of here to Chicago because every airline that goes there only flies the smaller jets which I won't get on (nervous). It's a 2 day drive and I'm going alone. Well I'll just have to take lots of snackies and music (The Lovehammers of course) for the road. I am of the older group of fans (a young 50) - hope you will all befriend and welcome me.

Wow I just can't believe this - I was so hoping they would come to Winnipeg one day. But this is so much better - a smaller venue and they aren't a "backup" group so everyone there will be big fans. I bet this whole thing will be exciting for the group too. Let's hope this becomes an annual event. Thanks everyone who made this possible. Thanks to Marty and the LoveHammers for agreeing to do this. All your fans love you.
