I know a lot of people are thinking about sites to check out in Chicago. This is a limited list of major sites. More can be added if you have any questions. The large green arrow is Wrigley Field. 1. Site of St. Valentine's Day Massacre. 2. Site of The Biograph Theatre - where Dillinger was killed. 3. Wrigley Field 3a. (The Metro) 4. Millennium Park - Site of the Cloud Gate Sculpture (The Bean) 5. Navy Pier (great to just walk around) 6. Buckingham Fountain Just Added: 7a-7c: The Museum Campus 7a is The Shedd Aquarium, 7b is The Field Museum, and 7c is The Adler Planetarium - The planetarium has the BEST view of the skyline of Chicago (IMHO). Let me know if you want me to site any other locations on the map for you. Lyn

great idea hammeredyoung! thanks for sharing. How about where you pick up the boat that gives you a tour of the Chicago skyline at dusk or something like that. A friend of mine told me I should try that if I had time.

Most of the boats are at Navy Pier, #5 on the map. A lot of those go out on the lake so you can see the skyline at night.

Excellent, hammered! I'm going to be in Chicago for 5 days and I'm so overwhelmed with where to start. This really helps...
Thanks!

It's a kick to take the free trolley downtown, too. Great laughs and there are stops all over town as far as I remember. Funner than a cab...

The trolleys run every 20-30 minutes throughout the downtown area on weekends during the fall. The website below has schedules and maps for the different trolleys you can take. www.cityofchicago.org/Transportation/Trolleys/
