Hey Cindy, Amy et al, I noticed that on the site's new homepage it says that LH will open for INXS in North America for Leg One of the tour. Does that mean the band will not be touring worldwide with INXS? Has anybody heard anything on this topic? Just thought I'd ask on behalf of everyone in Asia, Oz, NZ, etc. C

You know it would be even better if they had their own world tour and had other opening bands for them. That way you all get to hear more than just 45 minutes of Lovehammers. Am going to the St. Charles concert and would love to hear more than just 45 minutes...the time will go byyyyy wayyyyyyy toooooo fast for me, for sure....Nancy....

Lovehammers own tour!!! They should figure that one out shortly after they begin Leg One of the tour. INXS should be opening for the Lovehammers the way I see it!!! Surely, I am not biased at all!!! No way!!! LOL

I would think that since the Lovehammers want worldwide exposure, they would tour with them all over the world not just in North America. ;D

It'll also give LH a chance to gauge their popularity and realise they don't need inxs to tour outside the US, and how much better would that be for us fans!

Sadly, a bit disappointed by INXS + JD « Thread Started on Dec 23, 2005, 3:12pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just watched a video interview with INXS here: www.undercover.com.au/video/index.html(choose INXS in the search box and hit enter to see the video) Sheowl posted the above, which is an interview with JD, Kirk and Tim from INXS, they say they will be downunder in the middle of the yeark but sadly don't say anything about LH, so we are still in the dark.

I posted this on the Lovehammers board but thought it would be ok here also:
I read some music critic's opinion on this subject a while back when the tour dates where first announced. To sum up what I remember, the critic said that INXS was probably waiting to see if they continue the tour with the Lovehammers, because if the LHs outdo them, they will not continue on the remainder of the tour.
At first, I was like WHAT?? Then got to thinking about it, and I have to agree, I would rather see LH without INXS. Forty-five minutes isn't enough and I don't really care that much for INXS (and the idea of paying to be somewhere that Batshit boy will be....well it gives me the cooties) so get those 2 months done VERY WELL boys, and then go on your own tour and kick some ass!

I suspect that this will be the Lovehammers only leg with INXS. Guessing there is tension between the bands as evidenced by the "controversy" over the Pretty Vegas co-writing credits.
Having seen the LH's perform twice, I can say INXS has their work cut out for them.
