Okay - it is not a CD review, but it's still a commentary on the band:

Critics will be critics. That's why they're called critics. They're the sorry hecklers sitting in some dark corner and nobody really gives a shit about them. These guys who gave bad reviews obviously don't know good rock 'n roll music. I think that it was uncalled for to call Marty a pencil thin, shaggy blonde. F--ck that guy! He couldn't really properly articulate himself and make a good review of the music so he had to resort to insults towards Marty's physical appearance. As we all know, our Marty is a beautiful person inside and out.

Nickelback's music is very monotonous. Nothing like Lovehammers. No comparsion. Chad Kroeger's voice is always the same tone. Marty is able to stretch his vocal range. Besides, it's the fans that dictate the success of a band. We have to keep on buying their CD's and promoting them. The Lovehammers have the rest of the world backing them up.

I totally disagree with the statement that Marty doesn't have staying power. F...ck those critics. They're #1 in VH1. The true testament of a band's popularity is through the fans and our voices need to be heard. I'm still waiting for a copy of their debut CD. I will write a proper review. I think everyone else should. Cindy and Amy should have section where they post reviews from fans.

I did a great review of the band when I was a guest on a radio a few days ago. I'm still waiting for a copy of that interview and will have it posted here.

To hell with the critics. They can go roll over dead.
