Summerfest was such a blast, I don't have time for an actual review, but I can say they rocked. and shared a new song too!!! I loved the show, seeing the guys again and meeting new friends. Thanks for such a great time of partying after the concert (you all know who you are) it was the BEST Once again I didn't want the night or weekend to end.

Oh and the Athena was great, we got lots of pics in the restaurant and the manager even knew who Marty was. Great food and Greek beer Thanks to Dino and Bobby for the recommendation.

I got home really late last night, and was too wiped out to post then, too. It was FIERCELY hot and humid, and everyone sweated their butts off! I think that's why people are so tired and haven't written much yet. I ended up with a sunburned nose--ouch!

The biggest surprise of the evening--BILLY HAS A MOHAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd seen photos of him with one from the past, but didn't know we would ever see that again.

It was a very fun show, despite the heat, and the place was packed. I think it really was pretty much at capacity, and that is the main rock stage, in the prime evening hours!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovehammers totally rocked the place! People were standing on the benches and rocking out hard. It was a fantastic site to see!!! They played a new song--I don't think it was any of the ones from Hammercruise. It was definitely a hard rock song!

I started the day in the second row at stage center, but got acquainted with the nice Collective Soul fans in front of us, and when it was time for Lovehammers, they were kind enough to let me come up to the front row and stand next to them. I had my big lens on my camera, and was afraid that security would come down on my for that, but they totally left everyone alone about the photos. So I got some good ones! Can't wait to get them posted. I'm going to make this review short so I can work on them tonight.

It was wonderful to talk to so many Hammerhead friends! 8)
I gave out all of my street-teaming items, many going to young kids. They really liked the bookmarks and magnets, and some gentlemen who are golfers snapped up the golf tees!

We had stood around outside the gates on Friday night and gave out show flyers to as many people as we could get to take them. Then on Saturday, we put flyers in the restrooms and on tables in the eating areas. I stuck some magnets in the restrooms and on posts, as well. We also had flyers for the DVD, too. During the official meet and greet, a couple of us stood where the people where coming out after it, and handed out more flyers. It was amazing how eager they were to snatch them out of our hands, once they had seen the guys play live!

OK, off to work on photos!

Oh, one more quick comment--just after LH finished, some guys nearby who must have seen them in the past stood there staring in amazement at the stage, and one said to the other, "These guys are getting really good!"
(I thought, "YA THINK?!" )

Just a moment from me as well. I made it home safe, sound, very tired, and very happy. Lovehammers were as on fire as I have ever seen them. Loved all the unexpected parts, Matt, the new song, the white jacket (very nice), & (yay) How We Live. It was obvious everyone around me loved them! Know many new fans were made that night.

It was so great to see so many Hammerheads & fangirls again and meet so many I hadn't met before. The after partying was the BEST! So much fun! I miss everyone already. And I missed seeing you guys that couldn't make it so much. Is it August yet?? LOL

Got in late, slept a little, now WORK. boo

Glad you made it home safe and sound Sharon! It was wonderful meeting you and all the other girls. I agree with you and yc...the partying afterward was the BEST, and we must do it again sometime soon!

It was so great seeing the guys play on such a big stage to such a big crowd. They rocked the place and seemed to be having so much fun. When they played the new song, I thought it was a cover I didn't know. But when I asked Bobby about it, he said it was a new one. I loved it! As NancyBBE said, it was definitely different than the songs Marty played at Hammercruise. One thing I love about this band is that they do so many styles so well. I can't wait to hear more from them!

I'll try to post a review later, but I have to ditto everyone's sentiments. The show was absolutely fabulous! A new song, Give It Up, Matty, hanging out at the bar. SO MUCH FUN! Isa, YC, Klees - it was a blast hanging out with you guys!!!! So glad I finally got to meet you all in person, as with so many other HHs. Ya'll rock!!!

As everyone said, it was a fantastic show. The guys really rocked the stage! Marty did an interesting speech about 07/07/07 being the luckiest day of the millennium and about marriage - hopefully someone else remembers exactly what he said! ;D

Unfortunately, my camera had an autofocus problem that night, so I'm trying to pick through all the pictures I took to get some good ones.

Luckily some of the early ones came out OK.

Wow!! My second LH concert and it just TOPPED the first one! Loved it!! LOVEHAMMERS got the whole crowd to standing and on the bleachers too. It was amazing to see. Marty came out into the crowd singing and walked past me.... Loved the new song.
Got to catch up with my friends, meet new ones and party afterwards! Had a blast and hope to do it again.
