We just received this email and have posted it on the News page of the site: Marty Casey and the Lovehammers will be playing as part of a charity event for the Healing Homes Foundation on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The event will be held at U.S. Cellular Field. Tickets in advance cost $150. All procedes go to help families that have lost parents or children. Tickets include the game White Sox vs. The Tigers, a set by Marty and the Lovehammers, all you can eat buffet, open bar, visits from former Sox players and the White Sox mascot. For an additional price a Silent Auction will be held which includes an autographed guitar signed by all of the Lovehammers! The event is held in the upper terrace suites and only 300 tickets will be sold! Tickets can be purchase through the website www.healinghome.org or by calling Diane at 630-886-7217. MODIFIED AGAIN: Just received word that this is Marty Casey and Lovehammers. So this is back on as announced. |

I hope that the fans in the Chicago area can make it to this event. It sounds like a lot of fun...and you are supporting a very worthwhile charity. Besides getting to hear our fav band, you also get to enjoy the Sox v. Tigers game plus be part of the party!

Yeah Katherine! We both got our photos up tonight. The ones for Marty are now posted on the site www.martycasey.org/Road17.html Thanks to photographer Clint Tuthill for these nice shots! We do need a set list and fan description though. Anyone want to help us out? P.S. the three young girls in several of the photos are Marty's nieces. Those are his brother Chris's lovely young daughters. Thanks for letting us post those photos! |
