This thing is so hilarious...I love the Leper Pop guys so much. Notice how they nailed almost every issue the fans discuss...from underwear, to Trees Lyrics, from the size of Marty's family to the Jorty issue. And Yes there are several shout outs to our old haunt TWoP. I am also gonna consider it a small shout out (would that be whisper?) to this site when they mention the Steve website as SteveCasey.org.....when they could have said SteveCasey.com

Cindy and Amy, Yes. LeperPop has been quite the snarky gem this Rockstar Season. Everyone should read their seasons worth of blogs about the Rockstar show. And the comments section as well. This latest installment should be read more than once. I do agree that they are genius at capturing all the topics, hype, snark, and fangirly fascination that Marty Casey and all these various boards (TWoP, Snark, Rockband, MartyCasey.Org, MSN) have produced. I can't decide which one of these LP questions posed to Steve is the most outrageous and most capable of inducing riotious spew of drink all over keyboard: "Did all the Caseys get those circle tats behind their ear?" Or my personal favorite: "Did Marty nail Jordis or what? Are Caseys naturally attracted to Ungas in the wild?" Here is a great picture that shows the Jorty-tat in all its glory: |

I'm convinced they're authentic. If you read back through their archives (which are utterly hysterical!), they clearly have some connection to Marty that goes beyond mere fan speculation. They sprinkled mentions of Steve Casey and Leprosy (the band they used to be in together) throughout their blog comments, so I don't have any reason to doubt that story. Also somewhere back in their archives as they commented on the season of Rock Star, they mention going out to Hollywood to see one of the tapings. They have a picture of Steve Casey sitting in the lobby of a hotel from when they were all out there. I think they're legit.

Thesse guys crack me up! The snark is world class. I've been reading the show recaps on my lunch hour and I have to be careful that my co-workers don't hear me snickering at my desk. Their comments are absolutely dead on.
It's interesting that they pegged JD as the possible winner pretty early on, even though they clearly didn't like him. And the comments about his "hopping" made me laugh out loud.
