Eminem gets the big heave-ho from No. 1.
After seven consecutive weeks, Eminem's reign at the top of the Canadian album charts is now over.
James Blunt, whose debut disc "Back To Bedlam" has been creeping up the charts for over six months, hit No. 1 with sales of just under 8,000 copies, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
Eminem's "Curtain Call" (7,000) replaced Blunt at No. 2, while Madonna's "Confessions On A Dancefloor" remained at No. 3 for a third straight week.
The biggest debut of the week went to Yellowcard's fourth album "Lights and Sounds," which checked in at No. 4, racking up close to 6,000 in retail sales.
Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons," Johnny Cash's "The Legend of Johnny Cash," and Il Divo's "Ancora" all remained unchanged at No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7, respectively.
"MuchDance 2006" slipped four spots to No. 8, the annual "Grammy Nominees" compilation spent its first week at No. 9, and Chicago's Fall Out Boy hung on to No. 10.
Other notable debuts this week included Gino Vannelli's "These are the Days" at No. 18, P.O.D.'s "Testify" at No. 34, and
"Rock Star" runner-up Marty Casey's "Marty Casey & Lovehammers" at No. 38
