My local paper's TGIF section gave INXS front page billing. It is an awesome picture of JD.... Inside the TGIF section the Boca Raton show got a one and a half page coverage. With 1/2 page and interview with none other than MARTY!!!!!!!!!!! Its a verty positive interview, giving history of the band and the show... She plugs the new album I quote "The new album pretty awesome, particularly Trees and The Tunnel".... You can see the INXS Portion of the article on www.palmbeachpost.com/tgif/content/entertainment/tgif/index.htmlUnfortunately the website does not have the Marty Part of the artcle. I e-mailed the writer and asked for a copy..

So, I finally found the article duh! I've been looking below the INXS article....
Anyways, I've been e-mailing the writer... she loves the band.... and is psyched for the show! She said she loved Mr. Brightside this summer! Great press potential!

Thanks for the link Stil! Great article! Finally, a note about the changes in Tunnel. I can't believe they had to fight to get it on the album.

Interesting article. Thank you for the link!
I found this part amusing lol -
"Q: Actually, Marty, no offense, but all of your performances were slightly disturbing, because you always seemed to zone out with that intense stare of yours. I mean, it was hot. But sort of disturbing."

I liked the answer to that question as well.
Q: Actually, Marty, no offense, but all of your performances were slightly disturbing, because you always seemed to zone out with that intense stare of yours. I mean, it was hot. But sort of disturbing.
A: (Laughs) I think the producers were kind of quarantining me, always getting me to calm it down, calm it down. That was another way to still be intense without doing back flips across the stage. That crazy look is how it manifested itself.
So to keep from being all over the stage he developed the umm stare. Yikes! That's a powerful thing.
