I got an email from Pierre Robert today at WMMR. It's ohh-Marty-ficial!! The boys will be on WMMR tomorrow (Friday)! I've enclosed Pierre and my emails below.

Here's the email I got from Pierre this afternoon (Thu, February 16, 2006 4:05 pm):

Thank you so much for e-mail me here at 'MMR. In your note you asked about my show tomorrow and if Marty Casey and the Lovehammers will be on. The answer is yes. They'll be stopping by between 2 and 3pm to chat and perform a song or two. That would be great if you could mention that on the fan site so those folks can tune in. As you probably know (although you mentioned you listen to the 'ole-fashioned' radio), you can stream 'MMR on our website, www. wmmr. com. I hope you will be able to tune in!

Here's the email I sent to Pierre Robert yesterday (Wed, February 15, 2006 4:53 pm):

Hi Pierre!

I have been a super big fan since...well, it may as well be since the wheel was invented...

While at work today, I thought I heard that Marty Casey and Lovehammers (the opening act for this Friday's INXS concert at the Tower), will be on your show this Friday. Is it so? Did I hear correctly? If so, would it be possible for you to tell me approximately what time they will be on?

As a local listener, I will have your show on all day via good ‘ole-fashioned radio’ as always, but I know that the wonderful folks on Marty Casey and Lovehammers' various fan boards (special shout out to www. martycasey. org) would love to listen to your show online. Since many of the fans live far, far away, I sort of wanted to give them a heads up so they don't get into too much trouble from their webmasters for streaming all day long.

Hm, no one's posted about it yet... so I'll give a quick rundown of what was discussed!

It was just Billy and Marty, no Dino and Bobby unfortunately, but it was still pretty awesome. Most of the questions were about RS:INXS and Marty's experience there. The interviewer, Pierre, I think, asked how he knew about auditions, what was it like, etc that sort of thing. He also asked about The Great Escape with JD lol. Apparently that almost got him and JD kicked off the show because Mark Burnett was pretty po'd about that.
The majority of the other questions were about the early stages of the band and how they formed & met, and other jobs that they had. Pierre asked how their parents felt about them being rockstars (or trying to be way back when lol) and Marty responded that his parents didn't mind, he had 5 older brothers + sisters who all grew up and were pretty perfect so he was more the "rebel" one, you could say. He said it was always Dino and Bobby's parents that were yelling at them, telling them to get real jobs!

They played Trees and The Riddle, both acoustic, and had 2 people call in. One woman was from South Jersey and the other was from Florida I think! Both just commented on how awesome they were ;D

I think that was mostly it, I probably left some stuff out but I'm sure someone can fill in the gaps!

ps- mad for marty, did you get to meet them?!
