Lovehammers stuff never received

On October 15th I sent a money order to the address emailed to me for $41.00 for the Live/Raw DVD, L'Strange CD, the CD single, and shipping. I never heard anything or received anything. I sent an email to the Lovehammers address on aol in late December, but never heard anything there either.
I've since been hospitalized and obviously haven't followed up on all this. I suspect that the reality is that I've made a $41.00 contribution to a band I love, but am wondering if there is anyone who knows if I could do anything.

I ordered my DVD via money order on Oct. 12th and received it Nov. 30th. I had to email [e-mail] (I think Howard) in order to get it. He is on the road with them now, so I don’t think anything is getting shipped. I ordered a t-shirt at the beginning of December and I haven’t received it yet. I think the videos at Lovehammers Fan Club are just as good as the DVD.

On October 3rd I sent a money order for the Live/raw DVD. I still havent gotten it either. I ordered off the lovehammers site. A few weeks before that I sent in a money order for MOMM, the demo cd and a shirt...and I had that within a week. I guess the best I can do is patiently wait since I dont know who to email to ask about it.

I bought Raw from an ebay store back in November (Movie Dogpound is user id moviedgpd). It was so far back the DVD wasn't well-known at all.

These people sold it without actually having it (very much against ebay rules), yet ebay still lets them continue to sell.

I'm now thinking maybe I should list a red mini-Cooper to pay my oil bills...just kidding of course..


So I'm out the price of the DVD plus shipping. They just ignore me when I email them.

I know this is not the same as your problem, but I felt the need to vent to someone about the Raw deal I got from someone who could stand a good Hammering..

I sent out money for the Live/Raw DVD and the MOMM CD on December 2nd and still havent received anything either. I'm getting a little worried. I hope it comes soon!

Anybody who paid with a money order can have it traced to see if it was cashed. I suspect Lovehammers was overwhelmed with orders and through no fault of their own they just didn't have the man power to keep up with the demand. Contact the company you bought the money order from (hopefully you kept your original) and have it traced. Very disappointing not to get things you've paid for but you can understand how busy Lovehammers has been trying to get ready for this tour etc. I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Keep the love alive

I ordered L'Strange and the DVD and paid by check back in October too. I just received my order 2 weeks ago. E-mail Dan at [e-mail]. That is what I did and he followed up with me and made sure I got my order. I think they ran out of things and had to have more DVDs made. Be persistent and he'll help you out. He was very apolgetic - I think they're overwhelmed with orders and doing the best they can. It was all definitely worth the wait!! Good luck!

I ordered the Live DVD several months ago from the Lovehammers website. I went back and forth in emails with the "contact" person. They apologized and said they would mail it and never did. I never received it but got my money back. It is really annoying because I wanted that DVD BAD!!!

Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. BUT I still love Marty. Not his fault.......

I ordered L'Strange and a t-shirt around Thanksgiving. Tried e-mailing a couple of times, still no word. Hopefully they'll send stuff out after the tour...

Glad to hear problems are being resolved for those concerned--

Thought I might interject a bit of light (humor on me) into the subject at hand. I ordered the Live/Raw DVD pretty soon after I learned about it and got it pretty fast last fall--however, I didn't watch it all right away (saving it some like when I was a kid and got something special I guess)--and later discovered some parts would work and some not...I didn't want to send it back as LH I figured would be so busy taking off and I just didn't have the heart to complain--especially if problem was on my end...so I thought maybe I should try to clean it or something..

But, having some cd's but never cleaned any, I discovered you don't clean them like vinyl records (for anyone who is not laughing, it is from inside to outside not in "circle" like records) (yes I have lots of records, as well as cassettes, etc. --I tried to skip the CD's as I had read that something more compact was coming, but I have lots of cd's too--just never cleaned one). Well, I proceeded to scratch it like crazy!!! I then discovered a wonderful treatment liquid that one can use on your cd to make it less scratched (gamer stores carry it in cheap little bottle and you can apply it yourself)--It helped my other computer cd I tried it on to play better but LH one just no better...

I was wondering if my DVD player wasn't right or something...good reputable brand but a few years old...About that time I saw on some thread on some forums somewhere that a very small number of early DVD's may have somewhat been defective, so I ordered another Live/RAW DVD and this one plays GREAT.

I was so happy to get my DVD that plays great and I didn't think I should send the DVD back after I messed with it --(even if they would probably be great about it anyway), so I DID decide to make a donation--!!!...Merry Christmas, guys!!

Long story short--if you are getting a DVD now sorry about the wait as it is a great DVD, but yours will be likely to be just fine!!!

Every cloud has a silver lining though--due to my problems, I found on a forum where there was an additional part of the DVD where Marty is a kid "playing" at Rockstar--it is so cute--I got it to come up by pressing the right arrow all the way past the "photos" segment on the DVD and then"play"-(also by pressing the left arrow so lit up "Intro" goes off the screen and then press "play") -some call it an "Easter Egg" as it sure doesn't list in on there anywhere...

Oh, and I also found a great product called "d_skin" that is sold in stores by the blank cd's etc. and cd cleaners that comes in a round silver can that is a plastic "sleeve" one can put on their prize cd's/dvd's--needless to say, all my LH stuff got one of them!!!
