We (in the US & Canada) need to be on the lookout for the newest edition of Drum Magazine! This was posted by Mikeb over at the LH forum: lovehammersforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2000Mikeb Posted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 12:01 pm Post subject: Drum Magazine ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A friend of mine just called and told me that Drum Magazine had an article on the best new albums which included a great write-up on the Lovehammers and a picture of them. Apparently it is in the newest edition of the mag, I couldn't find it anywhere on the net. Has anyone seen it? Have a copy? Scan it and post it! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- So far it's not on the magazine's website. According to the mag it is sold in the larger book and music store chains like Walden's, Borders, Barnes & Noble etc. There is also a small list of music stores where it is sold here: www.drummagazine.com/html/index.php?module=htmlpages&func=display&pid=6So if anyone finds it - let us know what store you found it at and what issue has the Lovehammers in it.

I'm working on it. I know someone who owns a percussion shop. I'll stop in tomorrow and see if he can help me get it.

I might be crazy but I was at B&N today and looked at the April issue of Drums twice cover to cover and could not find anything about LH. Do I need glasses or my head examined? lol

I might be crazy but I was at B&N today and looked at the April issue of Druma twice cover to cover and could not find anything about LH. Do I need glasses or my head examined? lol Someone else--I think on the LH board--said they didn't see it in April either--so I don't think it is you. Probably in the March issue which is now hard to find as old copies get destroyed when the new ones come in.

I was hoping that something would be put up on the mag's website at least.

I went to the Tom Lee music store here in HK and they only carried Drum Professional magazine. Ironically Jon Ferris of INXS is on cover and there's an article on Nate Morton of House Band too. close, but definitely no cigar!

I'll check it out down here in Australia, we are a little behind in releases of magazines so we may still have a March issue somewhere in a bookshop. Get back to you all soon. Cheers, Hel

Sorry everyone for not responding I totally forgot about this thread I did stop in at the Sidney Music Works and like treebee read though the mag twice, almost felt like I should buy it!! I looked at other mags and bought one just because it had a write up on Ginger Bakers' son I didn't even know he had a son The mag did have The Top 25 Solos of All Time though and Sloing In-Depth From 10 Drumming Legends. Well worth the drop into the store and do a little Street Teaming speal And the owner lives here on Salt Spring Island. EEEEkkk! I also just remembered I told her I would send the list of how I found out about her Music Store....

I haven't had any luck either. Looks like we missed out. Maybe they'll eventually stick it on the website for us.

That would be nice RC. I sent off email to the Music Store with the information and now I'm hoping the woman I was talking too will take a peek in the back room, or inquire about the article.
Here hoping
