Hi Marty :

I know your busy being the creative entity that you are , but I saw pics of you using a dejembe and I was wondering :

Does Chicago host the drumming event "Elevation" ? I know they occur in the USA .Here in Halifax we call it "Elevate" . My friend Mike hosts it here from time to time and I have a small drum that I join in with . I love the natural high that comes from all the energy created in the room . You end up leaving charged.....revitalized .

I have been to drum circles before but not in forever. I love them too. I enjoyed playing the drum at the Music Mill. I will bring it out and bang along again soon.
