Hey Marty, After seeing the studio pictures posted on the LH page, my curiosity was peeked! When recording songs, do you like to lay out the track together as it appeared you guys did with “Driving Blind” and tweak it as needed or do you prefer to lay out the tracks separately and then overlay them to come up with the final product? Can you explain the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods? I am so excited to hear your ready to bring us some new music… As much as I love all the back catalog, and MCLH, after hearing a few of the new songs, I am more than ready for what you have in store for us!!! As always thank you for taking the time to answer questions! Janet

We have recorded every way possible: live - overdubbs - seperate parts - in different cities - on the computer - on 2 inch tape - on a*dat. It all makes for different art experiments and the outcome is never known or gauranteed.
We recorded as a group for some of the new stuff and will keep the drums and then build from there. I like it that way. Sometimes the drums go last.
I guess what you are getting the feeling that there is absolutely no method to the madness. none at all. You just use what you got and do your best.
