So, recently I've had the opportunity to either verbally quote or mentally quote, some of your lyrics because they fit the situation so perfectly.
In some particular order:
"so much more to see, but you're too scared"
"maybe we can change..."
"if you decide to get with another.."etc
"I can't believe what's happened to us in 1 year"
"stay one more day, then fade away"
and "let's go Outback tonight"
although, that last one might actually be a commercial jingle...
And then out of sheer coincidence today I read your response to Chelsea regarding your inspiration for your songs.
so all i wanna say is, Stop chronicling my life!!!
And I mean that as an absolute compliment.
My long term relationship came to it's painful, inevitable conclusion. And after 12 grueling months, I think I have finally come to a place where I am starting to accept things as they are. (cuz i too tried and tried and refused to believe it couldn't work)
My point is only this, I hope that someday I can write words that someone can connect with as strongly as this.
I have questions that, much like the death of one of the Spinal Tap drummers, are better left unsolved.
but in case a question is required, how hard is it to get a gig at the Metro?
