I read somewhere (sorry to the poster whose name escapes me) that Marty told her that the Lovehammers would be doing their own headline summer tour....Does that mean the "world" tour with INXS is over by this summer? I mean jumping cities in the states is one thing, but jumping countries is a whole other deal...

OMG, if the Lovehammers don't come to Texas soon, I think I'll just curl up my toes and expire from the stress. Must see Marty!!

This is only my opinion, but it is possible that they may not stay with INXS for future legs. That's pretty typical with opening acts...those tend to change with the addition of legs.

When the Lovehammers were on local CBS news last night, it sounded like they were going to tour around the world and that they were going to be touring all year. It sounded to me like they were planning to tour around the world with INXS. As much as you guys want to see them in the south, I'd love to see them continue the tour with INXS and get the world exposure.

I really hope they tour Europe in the Summer, or maybe even play at one of the great festivals over here, I am visiting the US twice this year but neither of my trips coincide with a gig. I am so bummed.

Hey yes that was my neice, he told us they were going to do a headlining tour and I said will you come to Sacramento and he said we are going to go every where and that was straight out of the mouth of Marty Casey to my face! Yea!

Well leg one is fine with me because I want to see Lovehammers headline and play for 2 hours at least  Also with all the good press they are getting I think INXS may be a bit jealous of their popularity, not to mention Marty is so much more talented than JD.  |

ok... I may be dumb for asking this but what exactly does "headline" tour mean?
Will they just be doing small gigs or does this mean like big time arenas and such?

Like INXS is the headliner now or the main attraction, (we know better) so when Marty/Lovehammers come back around, they will be the promoted stars! They(lovehammers) are the only reason I bought tickets, and was dissapointed to see that their name wasn't even on them, just inxs. I did however make sure to let all the guys know that they were the reason I was there, not inxs. |

Another vote for a Texas concert here! Perfect place--The Woodlands, right outside of Houston. Surrounded by lots and lots of TREES and they have a Pavilion (actually officially listed in Spring, TX, but is in the middle of the Woodlands and all the trees--even the mall had to be built so as not to interfere with the forests) where such performers as Dave Matthews, Van Halen, Elton John, and Clint Black have played. It would be the perfect place for the LH to sing Trees and all the other great songs!

Marty told me after the Seattle show that they'll be playing headlining gigs, and touring solid for the rest of the year. I think what size shows will be determined by how well the record does, so keep helping promote it!
