Let's write Marty limericks. Standard form: 5 lines using AABBA rhyme scheme, A lines have 8-10 syllables, B lines have 6 syllables. While I'm not particularly gifted at limericks, they are fun... so cheers!  There once was a rock star named Marty
His edgy sound started a party
Ladies squealed with delight
When he entered the spotlight
Hoping to get a helping that's hearty  P.S. I warned you I wasn't so good at it, but I'm looking forward to seeing what ya'll can come up with. |

really love your limmerick here's my effort Marty wanted to be the INXS Rockstar
He belted out songs & smashed his guitar
Afraid of his originality
INXS set him free

I like both efforts. Limericks are meant to be fun, rhythmic, and lyric... just like their subject...
