I find it incredibly crass and funny that there are hundreds of MC/LH fans that diss, slam and ridicule JD/INXS, when its quite obvious that INXS helped MC/LH be a household name/gain popularity and also were "kind" enough to offer MC/LH the opening slot of their upcoming tour. And this is the thanks/support they get.
Just an observation.
I hear people saying they will leave after the LH are done playing.
Just remember, if it was not for the members of INXS, 3/4 of you would not be seeing Marty and the LH in concert.
Thats all.

There are also many of us who love Marty/Lovehammers and wish JD/INXS the best of luck! I'm one of them! There is enough love to go around. So I agree Rockbeast. But I also thought the pic. was funny.

But I also thought the pic. was funny. Yeah i know, I laughed before, but felt like trolling sprocky! J/K I actually had this weird dream last night, I went to the Seattle show and after the lovehammers played (they kicked ass in my dream and played 5 songs from MOMM plus trees and a cover song!..LOL) and then there was a long intermission and INXS came out on stage w/o J.D., they announced that they had put JD on a plane because it just was not "working" out on a creative level and so they chose 1st Runner up Marty Casey to take his place

I agree with you rockbeast about the bad thoughts. I also have to wonder about those that love Marty because he has a beautiful soul. What would he think if he knew some of his fans were saying not too kind words about J.D. I 'm not a fan of J.D. but I wish him all the best. We won this one. We get Marty and the Lovehammers. We can be oh so gracious to INXS. I will go to the concert for Mary but will stay for INXS. I want Marty to know that his fans have good souls too. If you love Marty then think What would Marty do in this situation. I just disagree a little with u Rockbeast. I don't think INXS was being kind to offer him the chance to open for them I believe it was a very smart business move on their part because they have double the fans now. J.D.'s and Marty's. Anyhow. I am done. Glad to get that off my chest. LOL.

Which is weird, I am one of those people who can deal with J.D.
I really love the new INXS song and cannot wait to hear the album.

I never like INXS to begin with, didn't like them back then still dont like them now. I didn't watch the show because of INXS I watched it because it introduced us to talented singers like MARTY. I am one of those peolpe that will by a ticket to the Philly show but will leave after the Lovehammers...no offense to INXS just don't like their music and really dont like JD although I do feel he is right for their band.

dude i was just having fun i never liked inxs... to light rock for me.. im into hard rock and metal I liked Michael Hutchence. period. They had a few songs I thought were ok, but I just thought the guy was sexy with a hot voice. And I had a boyfriend that looked like him. I just liked looking at him and hearing him. didn't care what the rest of the band was doing! So INXS was no biggie to me. I do not like JD- so shoot me. I find him as likeable as that other reality show dude Johnny Fairplay I think they call him. You know, the dude from Survivor who lied and said his grandma died while he was on the show. Now that I think about it, I am glad that the Seattle show is sold out because #1- I don't have to see JD and I can see LoveHammers when they tour on their own and #2- The Paramount is not all it's cracked up to be.. I am shocked they are not going to the Key Arena. I was at the Paramount 10 years ago to see Anthrax, Exodus and Helloween and the place was falling apart then.

WWMD .... What Would Marty Do! LMAO, upinthetrees!
I never bought an INXS album way back in the day, as their music just wasn't my cup of tea. However, since I am going to the concert, I thought I'd enjoy it more if I at least knew their songs, so I bought "The Greatest Hits" CD. Still not loving it, but it's okay, and I WILL stick around and see the whole show.
INXS showed Marty and the others a lot of respect, showed the Lovehammers a lot of respect by asking them to open for them (despite what we may believe their reasons were), so I intend to give them the respect of staying and listening. We haven't heard their new CD, so who knows what will be on it? (Also, if Marty was willing to head up their band for one year, they must have something going for them.)
Besides, maybe, just maybe, there will be a 'meet and greet' after the show.
Happy Hallowe'en, everyone!
