So, how many of you have the new Nintendo Wii?
My hubby couldn't resist any longer so we have one. The best part is making up the avatars. I made a Marty, Bobby, Billy and Dino-- some of whom suck at tennis. (It cannot be me.) Marty, surprisingly, is a good boxer!
I'll try to get pix of the virtual Hammers and put them here. Anyone else who makes Hammer-miis should add them here too so we can compare!

I just got my Wii over the weekend. Had to go to WalMart at midnight on Sunday! I immediately got lost in the world of Zelda so I haven't really checked out the system...how do you make avatars? By the way, the Zelda game ROCKS!!!!!!!!  |

We to had to sleep outside starting at 10:30 pm the night before!! My husband and I took the kids and let them camp out in the warm van as we took turns sleeping in line in the snow--what we will do for our kids!!! The boys were so happy to get it!!!

ooh, I figured out how to make the Mii's. Geez, who would think something so simple would be so much fun? I made one for me and one for my husband so far, and I love playing the sports game wih them! I am going to make LH ones too, then at least take a picture of the tv screen and post it here!

Making "Miis" is great fun. Not sure why -- I guess because you can really manipulate them. For those that asked, on the main Wii menu (on the Wii Sports disc that comes with your set) one of the icons you can select is "Mii". This program lets you see the characters that already exist for playing games, and even better, lets you make your own. It's fairly straightforward -- be prepared, your kids will giggle a lot when they discover they can make facial moles grow large and noses move to the top of one's head.
I took some pix of my LH Miis and am just waiting for the painfully slow Photobucket to upload them. Then you can see my Hammer Miis. heheh

Wish I had a nintendo - I'll have to check with the grandkids. I doubt if they'll let me play though, I would be so slow (newbie.)
