Went to the NHRA races in Pomona Fri. and check out the black Torco-sponsored dragster in the far lane... ;D



Don't know if anyone here follows the National Hot Rod circuit or not, but the Castrol car in front of the Lovehammers car is Ashley Force's Funny Car. I got to meet her before the race - she's gonna be a contenda...but not this weekend.

Yes wildroses, I watched Driving Force - fun show!

We've followed John Force over the years, because he's kind of a local, he's such an incredible driver and he's a kick to listen to after a race. Watching Ashley come along in his (rather large) footsteps has been a treat - it was enjoyable meeting her, she's very composed, approachable and mature for 24. Guess you'd have to be piloting a dragster 325 miles an hour down a 1/4 mile!

When I was a teen I wanted to be the next Shirley Cha Cha Muldowney and my mom said Hell NO!!! So now I race people to stop lights in my Dodge Caravan....its just not the same :-)

Gotta watch the lead foot in that Dodge, jilly! ;D It was a kick following Shirley back in the day. I always watched the movie made about her, "Heart Like A Wheel" when it came on TNT...

And the pic - my concoction. Couldn't resist when I saw the black car with the red flames. It had Lovehammers written all over it - well, it did after I put it there.

I think we've all had (or will have) a car like that at some point in our lives. They do race those little pocket rockets here in So Cal. Not always legally - but they do race them...

I was wondering how the Lovehammers lettering changed from red to white in the pictures. You are very creative and had me fooled. But I still love the car it's very LH style!
