RF, those are magnificent. I still have problems with taking nature shots. But then again, I don't get quite those colors on my plants around here. Those azaleas are beautiful!

Rockfan - those are gorgeous! Do you have a DSLR? I miss my 35mm and haven't found a digital that can compare zoom/macro wise. Here in the "south" (SoCal) I've been trimming off the dead branches all day from our frost we had. Palms and hisbiscus don't take to 28 degree temps very happily.... (In fact 2 of the hibiscus (hibiscii? ;D) just said "fogettaboutit"...they're history - I can't take that kind of insolence. ) Keep up the beautiful work and thanks for sharing!

Awww, thanks ya'll for the compliments . As for some of the questions: Bostongirl, I can't take credit for having these flowers in my yard. These are in my neighbor's yard. My flowers are late bloomers (late spring, early summer). Treedom, I do have a DSLR with a lens that takes good close-ups.

Here are some pink spring blossoms. The first one is our cherry tree. My neighbor's pink dogwood tree:

Thanks guys. We've had several mornings/nights of below freezing temps and all of the blooms have been wiped out . It also destroyed the peach, apple and blueberry crops. Isa, stay away from those bluebonnets.....yikes, I hate snakes, especially rattlesnakes .

Oh Rockfan you make me so jelous. It's snowing here in Chicago and there is more snow on the way for tommorw. My neighbor's daffodils are hiding under a blanket of snow and slush.
