Not only do we need to have faith in what the guys are doing...........we must hedge our enthusiasm for seeing them do well with patience in knowing that it isn't going to happen overnight...............

As I stated on another thread.........their feet are wet........and the door has been opened for them.........they have everything they need now to truly take over the music scene as everyone predicts they will.............

Let's listen to Dino...and the rest of the band..........it is their future..............our desire to be a part of their success is extremely important to them.........let's make sure we do our best to represent Marty, Dino, Bobby, and Billy as best we can........

My hats off to anyone who has ever done anything to help them out........whether your an avid Teamer, an enthusiastic fan, just a fan, or maybe even a bus stalker..........you guys all ROCK!!!!

I am so glad that Dino posted something to give us a heads up on what to do. YAY DINO!!!

I think that making phone call requests will be far more effective then emails. And, like Dino said, even if the DJ says "no way!", we'll just respond with "thanks anyway." Remember to try different DJs at the same station (just not all in the same day). On Monday, try DJ #1, then on Tuesday, try DJ#2, and so on.

Everyone, please check out the radio station contact info in this thread. Make sure that the radio stations in your area are listed. We'll need to add request lines where needed.

:)Hey! Today, for the first time, I heard "Trees" on KYTE fm, Newport, Oregon. Yahoo! Here is an idea for Spreading the Love to your local radio station (or anyone else), go to lovehammers.com and email the media player link for "Trees" to your local DJ or program director. Then, they can hear LH for themselves! ;D

Last night around 12:30 a.m. we were driving home from a party and guess what came on the radio?

Trees--on 101.9 the mix fm in Chicago--We were so excited b/c we left our LH cd's at home were really wanting to listen to them after the party--and after some wine.

It sounded great!!

I got my first response from a raido station! I have sent in requests to all the stations listed for Georgia and Alabama today. Here is the message that I sent, "please add TREES by Marty Casey & Lovehammers to your play list. Thank you!"
Shortly afterwards I received an e-mail from WVRK Studio saying "Obviously you do not listen to us. We already play him."

They got me cause I have no idea where in AL, GA this station is so I tried to play it cool and said "sorry, you are absolutely correct... all I have been listening to lately is my Lovehammers CD
thanks for playing them!"

So, I will have to keep a note of that.... WVRK plays them

Well I've been trying to get the radio station here to play ANY Lovehammers tunes but have yet to hear any or get a response but the population in this area (Grey Bruce County/ontario) isn't so huge however we NEED some LH! So I'm asking my fellow Hammerheads to try calling/emailing THE BULL 94.5...they are out of Wingham Ontario and are a fairly new Rock station for this area...here's the info...the phone number is 1-877-945-BULL(2855) and it seems as though Jay Stevens is the one to email....his email is [e-mail]. I hope to hear some LH soon! Thanks everybody!

Trees is the #4 Buzz Bin Pick at 96.7 The Buzzard - a station out of Greenville, SC! They are ahead of Coldplay, Weezer, NIN....

I am always happy to hear that "Trees" is gettting more air time and that the Lovehammers are getting noticed, but I'm going crazy here in Western Pennsylvania!!!! I've been surfing the stations, but there is no mention of them. I've only been able to catch the new song by INXS about four times. I have this feeling that I'm the only one requesting them !!

I hear ya, Robin. They're not playing Trees on any of the stations that I can get, but I know I'm not the only one who has been requesting it.

I was thinking about this more and I wondered something……There is this radio station that plays just about everything (we even listen to it at work) and a couple of days ago they announced they were going to play the new INXS song. It kind of annoyed me when I heard it because all I was thinking was “WHY NOT THE LOVEHAMMERS?!!!! WHY NOT TREES???!!!!"
