We've just added a new feature called "Reputation Points" (other boards call it "Karma"). The way we have it set up, you can "Praise" (or "Exalt") members for informative, helpful, or entertaining posts. We like to focus on positive things here at the forum and want to add good Karma whenever possible. If you look in anyone's miniprofile, you'll see a "Reputation" field that looks like this:
Reputation: 0 <----Look at mine for example.
You'll also see below that a [Praise] link. You can "praise" a person and raise their Reputation points.
Q: How do I get Reputation Points? A: Be active in the board. Contribute to threads. Be helpful.
Q: How do I give Reputation Points? A: Just click on the [Praise] link in anyone's profile. You can only give 1 point per hour.
You must have Javascript enabled in your web browser or you will not be able to participate. If large images are resized on our board for you then you've already got it enabled.
Here's how to check:
Firefox: Go to "Tools" > "Options" > "Content" Tab in pop up window > Be sure "Enable Javascript" is checked.
If you have any problems, feel free to post it here or PM me.

Cool idea! It's kinda of like giving stickers for being a good student! Behavior Modification really works!

I see it more like a pat on the back or a way of saying thanks. You give praise to someone who's helped you out, made you laugh, made a great post, or whatever you think a person deserve thanks for.
