Hey, all! We're going to the Evergreen Cafe and Bar, 232 Queen Street West, around 6 pm before the show for a bite to eat. Everyone's welcome to join us.
(It's on Queen between Spadina and University, across from City TV... maybe a 10 minute walk from the venue.)

You guys, I had to tell you this funny small world story: Tonight in Bangor Maine, two women talked to us at a convenience store to ask how to get to an inn here in town. They were from Toronto! I said, "Hey I know people from Toronto!" (well sort of...lol) and told them about Marty being up there with LA Guns on the 8th and that we're going to go see him in Springfield MA on the 7th. They looked at me funny.   But we got them to their inn by having them follow us there and they invited us out for  but we declined and wished them well on their vacation. |

Keep spreading the word about Marty!!!  Never mind the strange looks --- something might just sink in... I haven't been to Maine in years... would love to go back - lots of fun times there when I was a kid. We used to shop in Bangor. Another place I love in Maine is Ogonquit. The beach is amazing and lobster dinners are to die for!! |

The show was fantastic I met up with Del and a couple of her friends and redjasper for dinner. We headed to the show and met up with another friend. There were also a few other people from the boards at the show. There were 5 bands altogether. LAGuns was awesome Marty was fantastic. They sang Rip and Tear, Trees, Can't always get what you want, Ballad of Jayne  and I can't remember what else. We were in front of Tracii. His playing is awesome. The crowd seemed to really like Marty. When we were watching Faster Pussycat, some guy asked what band I had come to see - I told him Marty Casey with LAGuns - he asked where he came from, so I told him - him and his friend thought he did great  I said make sure you remember that name If Marty came back after the show we did not see him, but as we (me and redjasper ) were leaving who was behind us but Marty - pics and hugs all around. Hopefully I'll be able to hear by Monday  |
