My 3 year old LOVES LH!!!! Does anybody else have littlehammers heads running around the house? I think it's so cute listening to my daughter sing "It'll be you and me, up in the trees..." while she plays princess. Yes I have littlehammerheads running around my house also. My grandbabies live with me. My 3 year old granddaughter has always loved Trees (knows almost all the words and sings - the new song with all the wording threw her off a little) since watching my RS tape. I heard her playing the other and was very surprised to hear "My eyes can't see what is wrong with me"!!! My 19 month old grandson loves Hold On the most out of new cd. I believe it is Bobby's drumming on this one. Grandson puts an extra effort to dance very fast on this one and giggles and is so happy. I will try to get pic someday of this. The new cd gets played and asked to be played daily!! Future Hammerheads rule!!!!!!!

I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old hammerhead. The other day my son woke up from a sound sleep in the car to tell me to put Marty back on the radio. (I had shut it off to read while I waited for my daughter).
My daughter has started a campaign to make me feel bad about not bringing her to the concert this coming Friday. (I do feel bad about not getting her a ticket, but now its completely sold out). And I think she knows more songs than my husband does now.

Mad for Marty --- My daughter is the same way!!! As soon as we get into car, "Put on Marty". I'm just afraid that one day, when I pick her up from preschool, her teacher is going to say, "She was singing the oddest song today. Has she been to a clinic lately?" I think it's great though. I'm trying to turn my high school students on to the LH as well. Gotta share the LH!

My son is not quite there yet with the singing, but this morning he told me that he wants to be a drummer....
I wonder where the sudden drummer fascination came from in my house.

This is all so funny. My 2 1/2 year old girl loves Trees, Rain on the Brain and Hunt (from Ultrasound). We will be in the car and she will say "Marty Casey" for music. My 10 year old girl likes some of the songs.....she is now picking Lovehammers in the car over her Hilary Duff. Also, I take my little one to "toddler time" once a week. Two weeks in a row she has pounded on the xylophone and sang "Marty Casey....Marty Casey". Ha! Now I just have to teach her the other guys names.

My daughter Morgan isn't a toddler (she's 8) but she loves Marty. After the Highland and Viper concerts last month, I showed her my pictures and told her I met Marty.
A few days later we were watching the preview channel and they had an interview with Marty. Morgan saw him and got all excited - she kept saying 'You met him, you touched him!'
Now when it's just us girls in the van, we crank up Lovehammers and both rock out. She says she loves to rock and roll.

I have two hammerheads at our house too, along with a J.D. fan. Anyone want him??? LOL JK we love him even if he isn't quite right in the head LOL. My youngest hammerhead turned 5 on Jan 29th. He loved Marty on Rockstar and would sing a lot of his performance songs to us. For some reason though he doesn't like trees. His favorite song is My Eyes Can't See. My other hammerhead is ten and LOVES the Lovehammers as much if not more than myself. He has listened to MOMM, L'Strange, and the new CD. Right away he noticed the lyric changes with the songs on the new CD. He said he would have to listen to it once or maybe twice to get the lyrics down in his head!!!! He rocks!!!! His eyes bugged out when I had showed him our autographed copy of the new CD. He was really disappointed that we couldn't go to the concert in Norfolk, but for a family of five on military pay it just wasn't going to happen. I have my Lovehammers saving fund started though. So the next time they are in town this family of five are going to rock out!!!!!!!

My kids didn't watch the show (on too late and too much swearing) but my 4 year old watched the DVD with me. Unfortunately his taste was slightly different from mine (maybe he just wants to be different). He liked Ty best, and probably JD 2nd. He told me he would dance if he liked some one and say booo if he didn't. He liked all the guys and hated all the girls. (They are girls after all ;D).

My son is 3 1/2 and loves dancing to the Lovehammers, but Marty singing Take Me Out is his favorite I think. He sang that all summer long. He liked Mr. Brightside too, when it would come on the radio he would ask me why it wasn't Marty singing it. Now he likes Trees, Hold On & the Tunnel. After listening to Straight as an Arrow he keeps asking me if Marty really has eyes in the back of his head.

I have two Hammerheads, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. My 7 year old especially likes Eyes Can't See and Call of Distress. She'll start singing them a cappella in the bath or in the car or around the house when there isn't any music on. She's has a nice voice too.
I took my 11 year old to the Oakland concert with me, on a Monday night (got her homework done early over the weekend - didn't stay for INXS - met the band!). She likes 'em all. I think Trees the most, but she tells me she liked how Marty sang "Creep" and "Wish You Were Here" on RS:INXS. I've downloaded all Marty's RS:INXS performances on one CD, in order, and we listen to it all the time too. They like "Baby One More Time" way better than the B.S. version (Don't we all!).
I try to expose them to great music not bubblegum stuff. It's funny, we watched the Superbowl half-time show yesterday and my older one was amazed when I told her how old the Rolling Stones were. She couldn't believe that people as old as her grandparents were still rockin'.

I have a four year old boy, that could not live without the Lovehammers. He wants them playing in the vehicle and at home all of the time. I don't mind of course. Santa brought him a drum kit for Christmas, and he's not that bad. He tries to play along with all the songs. My daughter is five, she knows most of the words to all the songs (I have three of their CDs) except in Call of Distress when Marty says "Mayday", both kids say mayonaise. Its priceless. I have corrected them numerous times, but it hasn't worked yet! We have all of the RS:INXS shows on tape, so when Dad goes to work on the weekends we spend quite a few hours watching Marty. Their favorite song is Marty's last song "Don't Change", because he is soooooo good, and my son likes the green flashing lights. And...I hate to admit it but, they also love INXS.

Oh my gosh - these are the cutest stories ever. Makes me wish I had my own little ones (not really, but almost). I love the whole "Mayonnaise" thing, vikster - sooo cute!

Kids are the greatest sometimes (OK most of the time). The day after the hubby and myself saw Lovehammers in Vancouver we phoned home to say "hi" to the kids and to tell them we met the band after the concert. My son (4) told me that it was "totally unfair", and my daughter (5) was wondering if I told Marty all about her. What can I say? we are one big Hammerhead family.

Lovehammers (aka "Marty Music") has overtaken the reign of Dora, Wiggles and Sesame Street. My daughter and I jam on the way to get groceries, on our way to preschool and while we fold laundry. She has shot her own video of "Trees". Perhaps I should submit that to VH1 and MTV, as we have yet to see the real video!

hey vikster, there's no shame in loving INXS. Room for all kinds of music in this world y'know!
I especially loved INXS "back in the day" as they say, I just love LOVEHAMMERS more right now! :-D

Nelle, I think you should submit the video! hee hee hee
My youngest, who takes dance lessons, listens to the new CD and tries to choreograph the songs herself. She told me, "I hope Marty sends you a line [meaning email] asking you for a dancer for his band!" LOL!
