This is the song that sealed the deal for Rob (my hubby)and me that Marty was so freaking cool!! We kept shaking our heads and thought," why is anybody else even bothering to try to win this? Just give the gig to this Marty dude" He so stood out above the rest in his "it"factor and from there on out each week he reaffirmed our gut feeling that this dude is going places! He is IT!!  "Come onnnnnnnnnn take me out!!" |

When he steps forward and that hat flies off his head and he starts rockin out seriously, that was the moment he became my favorite on the show. So at about 50 secs into his second performance on RS: I... I was a permanent fan.

The summer of 2005 seems so long ago. I was only 35 back then... just a kid.  Where did the time go?  |

When the hat flew off, my jaw hit the floor, and I though, "OhmyGod, WHO is THAT?!?!?!" I knew right then and there that there was only one REAL rock musician on that show, and each week only amazed me more.
Then so much more after the show......
He really is a treasure, and I can't imagine how dull my life would be now if I hadn't tuned in that night.
